I've been so short tempered as well please-let-me-be-lucky. I started a big argument with OH last night and don't even really know why. I felt really bad this morning
I think I'm struggling with the fact that so much in my life is having to change immediately and I can't even really talk about why to most people. Plus I'm worrying about our holiday. Not sure how I'll last over a week with the inlaws without them catching on.

Glad it's not just me laura
. I feel like I'm trying to please everyone and pleasing no one but DH says it's more like no one can please me!!
I've just properly thrown up so it's probably a peak of hormones. Thought of you claire, must be awful that it happens so often to you XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hope you're ok Faith2009 :grouphug:
It's good to be reminded from reading everyone else's posts that its normal to feel carp, irritated and knackered. It's so difficult to get the energy to keep the house clean, make meals and look after DD2. I want to lie on the couch half the time.
Jox - your scan pic is lovely.you must be so pleased all is well.
I got confirmation of my scan date by letter and they also included my 16wk appt details. Makes sense I suppose rather than sending two letters.
Hope the rain stays off till hubby comes home then he can get the washing in instead of me0 -
Back from the booking in appt. with midwife.
Feels more real now. Was a lovely lady and went through forms and gave me a bounty pack , mainly leaflets lol
Got to go back in 2 weeks for blood test results . She said she thought personally having the early scan ( this sat) was a good idea and she did the same when she was pregnant so feel like I am doing the right thing there, hubbie will still say waste of money lol

Ttc39, how did you convince your hubby? I'm pretty set on having one, but struggling to talk him round. He keeps asking me to send him info-not quite sure what he wants to see! I mainly want it done because of uncertainty with the dates and so that we can tell our parents. He doesn't get why I just can't wait till 12 weeks...men!0

Hi Laura, I told him that 50 quid to me is a small price to be reassured... I think I then commented that if he can spend 50 quid plus on fags a month.... :-) so just told him I was gonna do it basically xxJoined SW on 1.5.14 - Weight 11 stone 11

I just told hubbie that I wanted one and why. Then I let the idea settle. Then I booked and paid for it. We haven't joined up our finances yet as we meant to do that when we bought a new house (don't get me started on that as it should have been last year) so we don't feel the need to get permission from each other to spend money.
The reasons I gave helped him to understand. Both my sister and friend had two missed miscarriages and it was upsetting for them to find out that things had stopped weeks before without their knowing. I also told him the statistics, such as the significant chance of not making it to 12 weeks (17-22%) compared to the massive jump to 98% if things look good after 8.5 weeks. Then I said how much I needed my mum but that I was scared to tell her not even knowing if the baby was currently okay. He was fine with it and happy to drive to docklands on a Saturday morning.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
Hi Amy I seem to be able to keep things down as long as I take the tablets 3 times a day so from this morning I've started doing that. They haven't tested my urine I've just spoken to the drs on the phone.
We've got our private scan in a week and a half. I just said to DH I'm thinking of booking a scan and he said ok whatever you want. Poor DH last year thought the 12 week scan was to find out the sex & so it came as rather a shock to him that firstly it wasn't and secondly that the baby might not be ok, which it wasn't. So he needs the reassurance too.0 -

Hi Laura - I wanted a scan, was around 7 weeks when I found out about a company near me. Talked to DH, he said if I want one I can but its up to me, then I let it rest for a couple of weeks as more time went by, the more I thought is there really a baby inside and I needed to know!!! I knew my official scan date would be late as not seeing midwife till 10+6 so I decided to book in. DH did think it was abit expensive (GBP50) but I get prepaid cards at work (as an incentive to book a chain of hotels) so I used one of those which eased the pain a little. Best day ever! I had my scan at 10+2 and felt so reassured, now my 12 week scan is at 12+6 and even though I have been feeling down the last few days, I am really looking forward to it.
Last couple of days I have been feeling really down, I think its because I am so tired. Today was very hard in work, every couple of minutes yawning my head off, sometimes making my eyes water. Apologising to the girls I sit next too as they were talking to me and there's me yawning - I felt so rude but couldn't help it. I wouldn't mind, I had a good 9 hours sleep last night. Yesterday I also had no sore boobs and no cramps which are my symptoms so started to worry.....I know, no need to as today, boobs are sore and I have bad tummy cramps!!
I am defo getting bigger, my trusty work trousers are tight when I have them done up standing up (button and zip down when seated) last week they were still abit lose when stood up. Been eating really healthy too, quite proud of myself as I am a veg person rather than fruit but each morning I have been taking a 'fruit' box to work to place on my desk to nibble on. I wish my skin would catch up, I have so many tiny spots all over my nose for some reason!!! never have spots on my nose! and they are those tiny ones that hurt too!!!!
Hope everyone else is ok,
Mrsbunny 11+5Proud mummy to an amazing 8 year old!0 -
Mrs bunny, I've been shattered today too.. Hope you get a good night sleep tonight and feel better in the am.
Key this, I got married last year to hubbie and we too haven't pooled our money as such, at the moment we both just get what we want without having to ask the other one. I'm sure once baby is here things will be different xxJoined SW on 1.5.14 - Weight 11 stone 11
