    Claire it's horrible isn't it.
  • Aw claire poor you. Can you mash it in a spoon of jam like when you were a kid or does that seem even worse?

I'm feeling really sickly tonight too. This afternoon I was really craving DS2's cheese and onion pombear crisps so gave in and snaffled a bag in about 5 seconds, thoroughly enjoying them! Tonight just the thought that I ate them makes me feel ill and I keep retching. I can smell them strongly in my imagination, bleugh. Very strange.

Feeling very sorry for all of you who are suffering with sickness, I've had very little but it's made me feel very sorry for myself so I really feel for you all.

Becca, I'm still so scared that it might not work out even though I have no reasons to worry, I think we're destined to worry all the way through!

Fingers crossed for you smartcat, hope everything is ok.

We've just told what feels like the world and it's been a little crazy! Can't believe I'm 11+2 and it's almost time to move on up through the boards.

Thinking of you Smartcat. Really hope everything's ok and settles itself.

Ttc39 - I was in two minds about getting a scan. I decided I would at 8 weeks and it was very reassuring. Still waiting to get my 12 weeks appt date and I'm 10 wks. Hope they get a move on. I want it ASAP.

Did some googling to find out when this bloating will go. Answer - it won't and will probably get worse  I look about 6 mths. On the good news it means progesterone is high and your digestion slows so that nutrients have more time to be absorbed for the little one.

Getting nausea at all hours of the day & night but although its horrible its still a bit reassuring.

Right I'm off now to get my big gas belly into some maternity pants and maternity trousers :D

Sway from being constantly starving, to going off all food. Anyone else permanently shattered?

Yes! Really hungry all the time, but I'm also nauseous so I can't quite stand the thought of food... Eating (little and often) seems to help the nausea. So I have to convince myself to eat something and then it's better :)

Poor OH - he can't seem to plan exactly what to cook for me. What I fancy/can't stand changes every hour!

Yes, this too. Exhausted in the evenings, and going to bed early.

Sorry for all the ladies feeling ill, Claire and Squ1rrel, hope it stops soon!

    Smartcat, hope you're ok.

Faithhope, i’ve got a big belly too, I used to wake up in the morning with a flat stomach, not any more, it’s pretty huge! Baggy tops and scarves are hopefully disguising it or maybe I’m just fooling myself.

I’ve got a scan date - Tues 13th August and booking in on Sat 17th Aug. I’m scared!

I'll ask about NT screening on Tues.
