I was wondering if anyone knows if you can get your prescription fee exemption before your booking in appointment? As I mentioned earlier I'm not going to have my first MW app. until i'm 10 weeks, but I'd really like to take advantage of the free swimming.. thanks!

Ask your GP for an FW8 form. They'll complete a section and you complete the other two. Mine took about 10 days to be returned. I understand that they can also backdate prescriptions, but I'm not sure how far.

    Free swimming??? Really???

Laura: I've booked a private scan at the brentwood branch too, got it next Thursday. I had a scan booked previously with my last pregnancy and they were really helpful when I had to cancel due to a miscarriage, xx

My SIL has been going swimming throughout her pregnancy for free. As far as I know it was free swimming, free medication and free dental check ups etc. :)

Ah I'm just getting anxious about everything pg related, my scan feels so far away.

    Free swimming would be awesome!
