I've been the same Jenny! I've been craving really cold fruit, especially watermelon. I suppose there could be worse things! Although I would kill for a cold glass of wine...!

Still no real symptoms for me. I was so bloated last week but that seems to have gone down during the day, it still come back at night. I'm pretty tired and my boobs are sore but apart from the odd wave of nausea I'm doing pretty well. I am finding myself getting really hot though which is unusual for me.

Excited for everyone starting to get their appointments through (and a little but jealous as I have no idea what's going on with mine!)

To the newbies - I felt great until just over 7 weeks! I was still going to my fitness classes, sprinting upstairs, eating healthily but just slightly less than normal, and even lost a couple of pounds. As you can see on my post above that has definitely changed. I now feel out of breath walking down the road and all I want to eat is carbs (biscuits, cake, bread, chips, etc). I'm 10 weeks today and I'm pinning my hopes on feeling normal after the first trimester has passed.

Is anyone else worried about coping with their holiday? We booked France and it appears that I can't eat anything!!!! No soft cheese, pâte, deli/cold meats, pink meat (the French don't serve it any other way), salad, sauces that might have uncooked egg (you know about hollandaise and bearnaise but otherwise will you know), and dessert with uncooked egg (again not always obvious like tiramisu and mouse)! Not speaking the language I'm worried about missing something important on the menu. Argh! Wish we'd booked a Greek island or a cruise. :(

    Evening ladies

Came home to no nice letters about a scan date, only bills, so I am feeling sorry for myself, I am 11+1 and I want my scan date!
All alone tonight as DH is on nights, might have to treat myself to a nice bath, film and an early night as I am shattered!!

I have been waking up desperate for a wee each morning (though I have been sleeping right through the night). I am always hungry when I wake up so eat my breakfast, an hour later I am starving again! Nibbling on biscuits at my desk and the last few days I have gone through 2 boxes of grapes! Normally ok in the afternoon but by 430-5pm I am starving again - have my dinner around 6-7pm but can never finish it always too full and then that's it till the following morning - strange!

Sitting patiently for my scan letter to drop through my post box.........:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I went to Spain in July and I didn't really think about it to be honest. I'm a bit of a rule breaker so I ate whatever I wanted. I even had a little bit of pate and I always have my meat pink. I didn't have any soft cheese though, but they prefer their hard cheeses. I don't really like hard boiled eggs so I've been eating dippy eggs as well!!

I'd say don't fret too much most of the things associated with eating those foods are very rare. I'd say make educated choices, but don't let it spoil your holiday. I doubt the French are that bothered when they are pregnant.

    Lovely picture HungryKitty, congratulations!!

Kynthia, I'm in the same boat as we go to France in a couple of weeks as well. The food & drink is usually my favourite bit! Fortunately I don't like pât! at all and as I've only started eating red meat in the last couple of years I tend to prefer fish when we're out. Duck confit is my favourite and that'll be fine to eat. I'll definitely miss the wine though. Planning on getting some non-alcoholic beers for the early evening when we tend to sit out on the terrace for drinks. I plan to but myself some nice Stilton so I don't miss out too much and might bake a Camembert so at least I can get the taste!

What a great picture HungryKitty, making me even more impatient!! Lol

Hopefully your scan date comes through soon MrsBunny, can't be too long now!

Thanks for reassurance Kynthia. I am 5 + 3 now and although felt a little sick this morning hardly any symptoms. We don't have a holiday booked this year just got a festival break, so no need to worry about food (much lol). I think the risks are low but can understand your worry. Have a great holiday :)

I work in a school so have another few weeks off yet which I am finding makes this time go even slower. Too much time to think about things! Currently trying to decide whether we should camp (airbed etc) or stick to the original hotel when we go to the festival later this month (ill be 7 + 3), hotel sounds more appealing at the moment. Any advice?

Just cancelled our holiday to Spain that we were supposed to go on tomorrow. Hopefully we can claim on travel insurance as the dr is writing a letter to say I'm not fit to travel. Luckily the hotel is only charging us our deposit of €300 and we got the taxes back on the flights so lost about £200 on those so in total it's not too bad a lossif we have any problems on insurance.

Just managed to eat a tiny dinner & immediately took a tablet I am really scared it will come back up.

Kynthia: Funny that you're after carbs atm. Me too - I'm craving potatoes!

MrsBunny: Have they told you why you haven't got a scan date yet? It seems awfully late.
