Sorry to read you had to cancel holiday Claire :-(
I was supposed to be going to V festival next weekend but have told hubbie to take his son as I really don't fancy two nights on air bed and shared toilets at mo!
Up at 5 and 7 this am.. Left hubbie sleeping
I find I'm shifting from laying on Lh side to back to rh side all night long lol
Got a mates hog roast at 2 this avo for her birthday so that should be good :-)

Hello all :j
well I was up super early for no reason at all this morning...paying for it now thou...might have a nap!
Looked on line for shops that sell maternity clothing close to me, as money is tight needed high street shops and New Look seem to have quite bit on line. Nearest store to me is Stockport that sells maternity clothes so decide to drive over this morning (50 mins away) - (why cant the tiny store in my market town have maternity?!)
Walked straight to the maternity section, found what I wanted - Jeans and trousers for work, tried them on and went straight to the check out! Never done that before!! They are a little big for me at the moment but I am sure it will not be long before I grow and they are super comfy too.
I was speaking to the girl on the counter and she said hardly any stores stock maternity clothes but you can do 'click and collect' - click the clothes you want on line and go and pick them up from your nearest store - she said you could try them on in store and if they don't fit/don't like the store will return them.....excellent idea and will save me going to Stockport again
Next plan of action was to head to the Trafford centre to look for anything else I fancy and to find bras. Bought a few in M&S and wow....I feel 100% better already, so comfy, right fit, not aching, no digging into my back etc (PLMBL - I have bought the nursing ones as I would like to try and BFeed) I feel like a new women, and my breast look smaller than what they did this morning! :rotfl::rotfl:Spent about 15 minutes trying to find maternity clothing in the store and was told my an assistant that you can only purchase it online....how annoying  do shops not think pregnant women would like to try on clothes for their ever changing shape?
Didn't find much else except a lovely nappy bag I have fell in love with - http://www.johnlewis.com/pink-lining-yummy-mummy-bows-changing-bag-grape/p231429259 ...going to have to put a bit of money aside each month to purchase one!!
Arrived home to a letter from the hospital for my SCAN DATE!!!! :j:j:j My Scan is 21st August :j:j:j
I will be 12+6 then but I am happy, its not till 3.50pm so will have to work most of the day first - plus I am training someone that day too! but on the positive it is my DH day off so that's good.
Right, enjoy your afternoons, I am going to have a nap before DH wakes from his night shift.

Pink lining are having a 50% sale on some of their bags so might be worth having a looksie on there not sure I saw any purple bows on their though.
:jfor scan date! I can't believe they make you wait for a letter, I've always phoned to arrange a convenient time and then they've sent a confirmation letter in the post, but either way you've got a day nowGot married 13/11/10

You really don't need a special changing bag - just use a normal bag.
Of course, if you've fallen in love with it, that's differentMortgage when started: £330,995

Faith stay in the hotel! I can't think of anything worse than the smell of a portaloo right now! I live near Reading so when I've been we camped but went home each morning for a shower lol!
Lush life saver I need to get a small thing done on my tooth & my dentist said its perfectly safe to have injections but because of my previous miscarriage she doesn't want me beating myself up about anything so were postponing it until after 12 weeks.
Lola- same here, we ring up for a scan & pick a time, I feel bad everyone else seems to get sent a letter with no choice!
So glad were not going away just been lying on the sofa feeling sick & had a nap earlier just to get away from the feeling for a while. Just watching Mo run the 10k and other athletics!0 -
Lovely photo HungryKitty
I got a lovely maternity/feeding bra from Figleaves. It's the Freya brand which I love and always buy for my normal bras - really supportive
With DD2 I bought a lovely changing bag from Mothercare but found the free one from Boots more practical and easy to use. You get it if you join their baby club.
Ttc39 - I'm the same going from side to side all during the night. No wonder I'm tired during the day.
Great that you've got your scan date MrsBunny. I'm still waiting - might chase them up on Monday. I'm not good at waiting esp thinking how long it will be till i meet my baby. It's wonderful to be pregnant but I can't help thinking next March is sooooo long away. Then I think :silenced: I need to remember how lucky I am to be at this stage of the journey!
Sorry you had to cancel your holiday Claire. Take it easy.0 -
Does everyone else get awful gas type pains in their stomach at night & feel like they're moving a bowling ball when they turn over? It's so painful.0

Sneaking in from the later thread again.
Maternity bras - my opinion on this is that you should hold off buying expensive pretty bras. Mine first went up a cup size at about 6 weeks so I bought some larger multipack bras from asda and matalan. At 29/30 ish they have gone up again and my milk is yet to come in. They advise switching to a non wired bra but this is just so the wires in an ill fitting bra don't damage your milk ducts - if you're wearing the right size then this shouldn't be a problem.
I'd recommend getting a cheap non wired crop top to use as a sleep bra - I did this up until 16 weeks or so which is when mine stopped hurting.
All of the above is my opinion however...Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
May I join?
Pregnant again with first after m/c at 11w in February. Long time lurker of TTC thread and pretty paranoid this time around to be honest.
I'm due 5th April by LMP but think this will get adjusted later as my cycles are a bit longer.
Teews 6+1Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0
