Ha ha I assume from your post you're not feeling any better Claire?
I spent all last week wanting the sickness to go away, this weekend I was feeling much better but now I want it back! Yesterday I just didn't feel pregnant, and today is no different so I feel a bit down!
Why must we be so neurotic??!!!0 -
Good morning ladies, can I join? I got a TLP at the weekend
I was a resident of this thread a while ago, my DD (Frog) was born March 2012 and according to the pregnancy app I have on my phone from then this bean is likely to be due end of April 2014
Feeling a little (ok, very!) nervous about having two sprockets to be responsible for, the reality of trying to get a newborn to sleep and a 2 yr to go to sleep at the same time etc is what I'm worried about.
DH works shifts and is often out more than he is inI became a SAHM when Frog came along and this is likely to continue for the next few years. In the meantime Frog is going to start nursery for two afternoons a week from 1 Oct (she will be 18 mths) and I am ridiculously excited about having a few hours to myself twice a week!!!!

I've felt the same for about a week. I'm 8+6. In my head I was expecting the worst. I'd bought a cheap (the cheapest but with great reviews) fetal doppler and thought I'd give it a go on Saturday, not expecting anything as it's way too early really, but also knowing there was nothing to lose. I found the heartbeat instantly:):):) Tried it again yesterday but this time recorded the sound. Double checked and triple checked against youtube and my parents, absolutely no doubt, and it's pounding like a steamengine:) at about 180bpm, so please don't worry. I think you're about as far along as me so probably not unusual to feel like you do. But definitely not unusual to worry about it! Lots of people say don't try the dopplers as you can end up worrying more than it's worth, but at least for the moment it's helped me enjoy not feeling rough.0 -
Hi icey77  my DD2 will be 2 1/2 when this little one is born. I also have a teenager so there will be teenage tantrums, toddler tantrums, plus newborn wailing :rotfl: Wonder if I can get Valium?
Claire, sounds like you're having a right time of it! You poor thing
Glad your DH is looking after you. I've been feeling carp and DH has been great. Now he's back at work tho I'm going to have to muddle thro myself. I would love a cleaner/housekeeper/babysitter for the next 7 mths0 -
Just wanted to send you a big ((HUG)) Claire.
You sound just like me with DS, I think I lived on dry crackers and Tuck biscuits for 5 months. Just wait when people know you're pregnant - endless advice on ginger, peppermint and the classic 'Oh, it only lasts 3 months and then I was fine'
Oh God, having a 2yr old and a newborn - I have no idea how I'm going to cope. Here's hoping the family will be generous with their time.Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Hi any newbies!
Sorry your still suffering with the sickness Claire. Sounds awful! Hopefully it calms down soon
Great that the Doppler worked for you pink panther. Must have been a very special moment for you
Starting to feel a little sick now (nothing like yours though luckily claire!). So eating more often to keep it at bay. What I find really strange is the vivid dreams I've been having! From on the run with the singer from the script (who I have no interest in btw) and a fake potato baby to cover my real bump from the government, to miniature babies which just won't fit right in their pram. I'm exhausted when I wake up! :rotfl:
Anyone else having strange dreams?0 -
Welcome Icey!
Claire you poor thing! Hope you feel better soon.
Faith yes I'm having very vivid, very ridiculous dreams too. None of them make any sense but seem so real at the time.

I was making inappropriate advances to a work colleague in my dream last night before making my escape on a pair of sparkly roller skates! Very bizarre!0 -
