Thanks LannieDuck, will study that later :-)
From what I read this morning, I'm hoping it's a good sign.
1.60mm Lilymay1
CRL was 61.8, which is almost on the median line, which is good as the graph they put on my sheet yesterday shows that it was low (about 20th centile) at the early dating scan, 8+40 -
Magpie27 - How many weeks are you? Are you tempted to get a private scan whilst your are waiting? I know it's hard not to worry but I'm sure if it was anything to worry about the consultant would have said something, or asked to see you again sooner.
Mazz - Glad your scan went well. Did you manage to get some good photos? Do you know how long it takes to get the results back?
lushlifesaver - It sounds like everyone is getting excited already! Your baby is going to spoilt rotten! I've only told work and our mum's. If all goes well tomorrow at the scan I want to tell the world!
I heard the heartbeat today!! It's so surrealIt's a quick little thing, swimming around in there. I can't wait until my DH comes home from work, I just hope I can find it again.

Looks as if your measurement of 61.8 is using different units to the graph I linked to. May not be much help then, sorry.
However, a measurement on the median line is very good newsMortgage when started: £330,995

I'm 7+1 I guess your right I just felt he was pretty dismissive and in the rush and stress I forgot to mention the cramp in my calf. I'm worried as I feel like I have to be extra careful and not sure if its safe to have s*x as apparently you shouldn't according to the info I got from the clinic but the consultant didn't mention anything, poor OH wasn't very happy about that lol!!! also I am flying in 2 weeks so that's making me anxious.
I told my boss that I report to today just because I'm going to the doc's again tomorrow and I don't want to lift anything. I've told him I don't want anyone else to know until after my 12 week scan.0 -
My mum said you never stop worrying, you worry before you get pregnant, you worry throughout pregnancy, you worry when they are tiny babies and you'll worry even when they are grown up with families of their own. She just smiled and told me to get used to it!0

Can you have protected sex Magpie, give your hubby some hope
Lovely to see the scans
I threw up on Sat morning! First time and no repeats yet.
Did another test as no other symptoms really and got a positive line very quickly but I still can't get too excited or relaxed!
People keep trying to force booze on me! Friday I went to a bbq and my friend who I haven't told was insistent on me drinking wine but I told her I had a headache. She asked me if I was pg and I said no, I'm waiting for the scan before I tell people!
More friends trying to get me to drink on Sat and yesterday, my hubby jumped in telling them that we're both being healthy, well he's off booze because of anti-depressants so we're supporting each other!
Hope everyone is well xx0 -
Had my booking in with the midwife this morning. All went well. Should be due for my 12 week scan in about a month.
So tired today. My nausea seems to be an afternoon and evening thing, struggling to eat but done a big shop today and bought a few things to tempt me.
Hope everyones feeling ok and the heats not too much of a problem. x

Mazz, my mw said they look for the scan measurement to be below 3.5mm, mine was 1.6 I think so she was happy, and the letter came a week later to say we were low risk

Thanks Bigzippy.
Faerie, pic is below, but you will have to excuse the flash. I originally put it in my post, & then realised that it has all details on it. As Bigzippy said, I've also been told I'll have the results in a week. Actually have a consultants appt ( pre-booked) on Fri, so would be nice if they are back by then, but I'm not holding out much hope.0 -
Mazz - 1.6 is very good. Absolutely nothing of concern. As Zippy said, they look for anything less than 3.5 and you are waaay off that
Early scans are notoriously inaccurate when it comea to the measurements. Even 1mm error can make a huge difference so its good you are measurig all fine. Remember though, anything within the 0-100th percentile is TOTALLY NORMAL! Don't get worried if you are above or below the 50th. Both my children were at the very bottom of the charts...DS was 7lb 1oz at 37 weeks. He is on the 0.2 at the moment for both his height and weight but he is totally fine!
It took nearly 2 weeks for my results to come through the post so don't get your hopes up for Friday. Having said that, you'll almost certainly be low risk.14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130
