I would never be able to keep a pregnancy from my partner for 15 weeks. A lot to do the fact my ladies have grown and he has picked up on that and I already have a little bump of something going on.

I was in maternity clothes by 6 weeks.. but he didn't notice because he didn't know.. With Squeak he knew from me being 5 weeks pregnant and he noticed the changes then. With this one, he never noticed a thing.

Jenn_ifer - if you're around 6wks it's probably implantation bleeding. I had light spotting then too and after losing a baby last nov, I thought the worst but all has been ok. Call your midwife if you're worried. Xx

Jennifer - I had some spotting and it is on and off but its a bleed next to the sac. It had grown on my last scan but was dispersing so glad about that! Easier said than done but its probably baby making itself more comfortable for the long haul!

Becca - Hope you feel better soon - especially in this heat.

Pigpen - isn't it amazing he noticed it first time and not the 2nd. My OH is not the father of my DS so he doesn't know what to pick on he just knows I sleep like a log lol.

AFM - found out that unexpectantly one of my friends is pregnant which I am pleased for her but shocked she has a 19 year old and a 14 year old  but she has had a rubbish run of luck so hope this is her good luck. So wanted to tell her I am too but I only have to wait a couple of weeks and hopefully I can. I think there is something in the water as two ladies I used to work with are 15 and 21 weeks and they post bits on the book of all faces (sorry my name for Facebook) and others have announced babies.

Hope everyone has a good day

    Good morning,

Phoned the GP surgery to make my first appointment. Won't be able to see the midwife till the 8th of August though and will already be 8 weeks then. Not sure how it was with my first pregnancy but the second I already had a scan then. Maybe it was early because of the MC before and although I'm now 35 I guess they see I had one successful pregnancy and take it slower? Still a bit of brown spotting (leftover IB?) but if it continues I maybe phone up again and see if they can see me earlier.

So happy to be pg but after not getting a good sleep and DS being up early I already miss my coffee ;)

    Morning ladies,
had horrible traffic on the way to work, thank god for air con!

welcome and congratulations to all the newbies, including squirrel when she decides to delurk :p

Jenn hope the spotting is nothing but best to get it checked out anyway.

Thirfty 8 weeks sounds about right for booking in, maybe they're just a bit more busy this time round so already booked up before then

am feeling a little naseous today so reassuring, also realised that i panic every morning that my mini bump has gone then every night i'm reassured as it's grown again. you think i would've detected that pattern before :rotfl:

bit emotional today, not sure why other than hormones. even to the point where i was on the verge of tears when something random made me think of Martin Crane. you know, the Dad from Frasier, he's just so lovely waaaaaaaah :rotfl:

Bless you TL... but he is lovely! :)

I worry about my lack of bump every morning too, but I'm blinking massive by bedtime which makes me feel better! :p

Ordered my first maternity dresses the other night! I was planning on waiting for the 12 week scan before doing any shopping but my wardrobe situation is looking pretty dire so I bit the bullet! Got 2 in the ASOS sale and 1 on ebay so didn't spend too much. :)

ooh i might go have a look at that sale, going to the races 2 days before my scan so need something comfortable, looked at maxi dresses in Sainsburys before but when i held them up to myself they trailed for about 5 inches on the floor, such a short !!!! :rotfl:
feeling superstitious about buying maternity gear but considering i've just had to buy maternity bras as there were no other non-wired in my size might as well go hard or go home lol x

Blimey this thread moves along fast :) My OH has been really actually sympathic which is amazing although he does think its funny how big my stomach is by night time which with the hormones sometimes I just can't see the funny side!!! Been busy sewing the last 2 nights trying to get 2 loose dresses done so I have something to wear in this hot weather which hopefully won't show my bump too much at work.
