  • Congrats to all the newbies here.

I've been quiet recently as nothing much to report. Still my only symptoms are extreme tiredness & bigger/sorer breasts. I've been sleeping all the time then wake up and still feel shattered. Want to get morning sickness so I can believe this pregnancy is actually happening. Have booking in app in 15th July and scan on 6th August so not so long now. Looking forward to having my bloods done next week so someone else can actually confirm this pregnancy is real!

I haven't bought anything baby or maternity related-not even allowed myself to look-too superstitious.

I am taking folic acid and vitamin d-anyone taking anything other than those?

Are people still doing normal exercising? I've stopped as scared something could happen. I know the advice is to keep going though but I can't bring myself to-plus so blooming tired all the time!!

LOL Teamlowe! Can't believe that's what counts as go hard or go home these days now we are all PG ;)

Moneypenny, congrats on your mortgage busting! Very impressive :)

Not much to report here. All my symptoms have completely gone now. My bbs are only sore if I squish them(!). Seeing the GP on Friday as the surgery commands, so hope for some reassurance then.

I'm still going to yoga and bums & tums. I'm just making sure I don't do lower abdominal work, inversions and closed twists. Later on I won't be able to lie on my front, risk balances due to increaed clumsiness or extend too much due to softening ligaments. They're classes I've done for a whole and I figure I need to keep fit for the labour.
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!

I was going to reply to a few posts but I'm too tired. I feel overwhelmed with tiredness every afternoon. Wish I could go to bed even tho I had a lunchtime nap.

My bras aren't too comfortable at the mo but don't know if it's mainly cos it's so hot or just that I need something more comfortable. I may have to go back on my resolution to stick to underwire and go looking for something resembling the Forth Road bridge.

On another note, is it bad that I'm lusting slightly after Andy Murray? :o Can I blame the hormones? :D

    I've been Money Tipped!
Thanks ladies - now we've seen the baby and heartbeat, it's starting to sink in a bit! Going to have a private scan in around 2 weeks (fingers crossed).

Faerie I'm lucky in that I should be on school summer holidays when I have my 12 week scan. Would it be a pain to have the day off? If not, might be as well to book it just because then you can go baby shopping afterwards :D

    Welcome Judith and Thriftylass x

    Squirrel are you lurking?!

Awww TL hope you are feeling less emotional tonight!

When is everyone planning on telling work?

Because ive been in the care of the FS I'm already booked in for an early scan on 25th July. My midwife booking in appt is the next day!!!

So far the only people that know are DH (obviously), my mum and my slimming world consultant!! We are seeing MIL in about 10 days and would really like to tell her but because its just before my scan i'm a little worried. I was thinking about taking another test just before I go so I know I'm still pg but I dont know whether that makes me sound like a madwoman!!

Suffering from quite a bit of nausea at the moment - and being put off food by the smells (some things I love smell gross!)- no other real symptoms!!

Back to lurking for a few days!! Doesnt seem real at the moment!

    Welcome Squ1rrel5!

Becca, it depends on how many staff are on that day, I'm a nurse so I can't leave the ward short staffed. I could try to swap with somebody but I think I'll beg for an annual leave day if we're fully staffed.

I've felt rubbish all day, really lethargic and just didn't know what to do with myself. I was too hot, too uncomfortable, didn't know if I was hungry etc. Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit better. We're supposed to be going to an Italian for my OHs birthday tomorrow but I don't know if I can stomach it, never mind move from the sofa! The midwife yesterday was saying how magical and lovely pregnancy is, she's being sarcastic right?!

I worry about my lack of bump every morning too, but I'm blinking massive by bedtime which makes me feel better! :p

Same here. Have the usual belly size on a morning. So bloated come the end of the day that twice I've been offered the pregnant lady seat on the tube.
    Yes please - I'm having that!!! :p

Hope everyone's had a good day.
