Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 3

Evening all, hope everyone is doing well. I'm fine, a little bit weepy at the moment...crying for no real reason. I'm fine up until about 7pm and I start to shut down. I start to feel cold and shaky. Almost flu like. Anybody else had this?

Amy LF - glad all turned out to be ok. I've had some pains and aches, think it's probably very common. Glad you've had your scan too - it's so nice! Sounds like you're at a similar time to me at my last scan - I was 5+5 and saw a fetal pole about 2mm!! I didn't have any spotting after my internal but I did read it's very common so I wouldn't worry.

Lily - so sorry to hear you've been having issues. I think if you're 5+2, then an empty sac could be perfectly normal and your levels are good. I think if you can see the double ring halo then that usually rules out ectopic. If you've no pain, it all sounds good. Keeping my fingers crossed for you x.

Amy 85 - same scan date as me! I'll only (hopefully) be 10+1 (so will get another!) so probably won't tell my family then.. It's so hard waiting though isn't it - I feel like I'm wishing my life away sometimes waiting for scans/telling people etc.

Vic - I've not felt flu-ey as such but have had shivers and felt very cold. Maybe you're coming down with something. I think the weepiness is perfectly normal though!

Retepetsir- congrats on the scan. I've heard of lots of people taking low dose aspirin so sure it's fine.

Sorry if I've missed any other news!

Got my repeat (free) scan today as they saw so little 2 weeks ago. Feel nervous as although I've had some symptoms, they come and go and aren't as intense as other peoples.. Also keep having some pains.. Hoping to see heartbeat and good growth since last week, will let you know how I get on.

Vic, it sounds like you're having a pretty bad time of things atm - are you suffering with vomiting? I find I get similar symptoms if my blood sugars are low following sickness :grouphug:

Thanks all. Yes pp, that does help. I am trying to remind myself that doctors arn't always right. The nurse who took my blood today told me to expect the worst and started telling me to leave it a cycle before we try again. Thanks love, reassuring me there

I get my blood results at 3pm. I'm sh1tting it. It's like my blood runs cold
every time I think about ringing

In other news. I have a second scan on Tuesday morning an also have my booking in appointment on 24th May. Hopefully I will need it still.

No vomiting at all. In fact my sicky feeling has eased pretty much completely! I feel really well all day until I've had my tea.

Thanks guys. I know its only a small victory but the nurse who I spoke to sounded very positive. She said it looked like an interuterine pregnancy that was progressing and that my last scan was probably just too early. I am so happy xxx
