This emotional carp is really getting to me. I'm not much of cryer but OH was talking about how good it will be if it's a boy and how he can play hockey with him, play x-box etc, made me shed a tear or 2.

Now I feel really nervous and under pressure to make sure it's a boy. Nothing I can do to control it which makes me feel even worse. It's really stupid but I cant help but feel I will let him down if it's a girl :(

Sorry for the rant. I know people are having real issues I'm just venting.

P.S It's great the bleeding has stopped Flower

Lippy - your OH will be delighted no matter what the sex of the baby! OH kept going on with DS saying it would be great if we had a boy because he could take him to play football etc.. but equally if he had been a girl i know he would of been delighted to have a little princess to spoil!
I did say all along though that I thought it was a boy, dont have any feelings this time - must be a little madam with all this trouble :rotfl:

Its emotional stuff this pregnancy lark isnt it, bloody hormones :rotfl:

Have now gone 24 hours without any bleeding :) hoping thats a positive sign.

Hugs lippy. I read that the sex is determined by the sperm, so his men have already actually decided! No idea whether its true but you have a good comeback there.

Fab news flower. Still keeping everything crossed but i reckon that no bleeding in 24 hours is a fab sign x

hey all. Hope all the mummies and bumps are doing well. I see some names on here that were here when i had a bump! Congratulations ! Ellie is now 16 months old!!

Ellie was born with a heart defect Could I ask a favour. Ellie's heart condition wasnt picked up until she was 8 weeks old and very poorly. There is a pulse screening test that is painless and takes only a few minutes and there is a petition to bring it in as one of the checks newborns get it would pick up 75% of breathing problems and heart defect. Could you spare a few minutes to pop and sign it http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/37286 Thanks
:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heart :( Proven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

    Morning!
Had my rescan on Weds as I wasn't far enough along the first time round for the NT measurements, it was so nice seeing the baby flipping about again - we even got a wave! I'm 13+1 today, so I should really graduate to the next thread - see you all over there :)
