I just blurted it out the second he got through the door! I'm too giddy for anything more subtle :rotfl:0

Congratulations Amy
More bleeding here, although no where near as much. Must stay positive, must stay positive....
Hello there - I also had bleeding between 8-12 weeks. The scan showed a bleed in my womb which was causing it. Someone else I know had a sudden bleed (similar to how you describe) around 11-12 weeks and thought she was miscarrying, but the scan was fine and she's now got a young baby. I think it's sometimes sensitive areas around cervix/in the womb, or blood vessels or something. It's horribly worrying, but doesn't always have to be bad news.
Hope it stops very soon and you can start to relax a bit.0 -

Yes they could see it on the scan, they said its outside the sac so not affecting baby and apparently if your going to bleed during pregnancy this is the 'best' kind to have? According to the very reassuring GP I saw afterwards.sweaty_betty wrote: »Hello there - I also had bleeding between 8-12 weeks. The scan showed a bleed in my womb which was causing it. Thank you, its nice to know that other people have had bleeding and gone on to have healthy happy babies
I seem to be changing at least every hour from feeling positive and knowing we saw a heartbeat to feeling really down and pessimistic.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
I lost a couple of very large clots with DS2, about orange sized and a bit bigger.. and some which was collected blood from miscarrying his twin.. he was totally unharmed by it. The clots with DD1 were smaller but a lot more of them and right through the pregnancy.
The clots were thicker and darker as they were old blood.
Whenever I have miscarried the blood had been very dark red/brown and gloopy rather than red and thin and fresh.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I haven't had any clots, which i'm guessing is a good sign (?)

I have been up since half 6 with DS and that was too early for me :rotfl:Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Does anyone else feel as though their heart is racing all the time? I'm really warm too - although I think I might just be overly anxious.0

Possibly is because your anxious because I have been like that since the bleeding started. Although am pleased to report that had absolutely no bleeding overnight, not even a single dropBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0
