I ditched my work trousers last week, but they were always on the tight side, plus I'm now office bound so I don't need to bother with uniform. I'm in some maternity trousers already as I can't be bothered to buy any new trousers so I'm just constantly pulling these up as they are too big. My casual jeans and other non work trousers are okay for the time being. I can't tell if I have a bump yet, but then I have a big belly anyway! :o

I'm not really sure how far along I am until I get my first scan which feels like an eternity away- 8th May. This one wasn't planned and AF was so erratic that I can't even guess.

Hannah27 this time round I only did one Clearblue which came back as 3+, I've never done one personally which said any less! I wouldn't stress if I were you I did a normal cheapie test with Isabella that said not pregnant then I did a Clearblue two days later which said pregnant and not just a little bit pregnant it said 3+ so I'd just wait for the scan, it all depends on you hCG levels

Thanks Lola, I have spent this evening pulling apart my digital tests to look at the strips inside them! The lines look like they have been getting darker so Im happy for the moment! Only 12 days until my scan.
Can't believe they didn't send you for one earlier considering you have no idea how far along you are. Imagine if you get there and you're halfway!
    xx

    Aw congratulations!!
I listen to mine every day and love it apart from baby has a new habit now of letting me hear him/her, then kicking/hitting the doppler and bursting my eardrums before wriggling away to hide somewhere! A word of warning - in a few weeks when there is more movement don't have it turned up full volume!! I have jumped out of my skin on more than one occasion!

Also for anyone else with a doppler, if/when you run out of gel, baby lotion works brillantly and smells lovely too!

That's great Abis :) I'm so tempted to try mine but I'm only 8w2days so it's probably too early? I swear I can feel movement, well flutterings already. It feels exactly the same as my last pregnancy. I loved the early days of movements then it suddenly feels like there's an elephant in there kicking like mad!

I'm still feeling rough. I want my energy back!

Aw congrats Abi! I love mine, I think they're fab and listen to mine every other day. I had a really stressful week recently after an unexpected death in my close family and was so worried about baby but got Doppler out each day and just hearing him/her would put me at ease. Been worried last couple of days (I know I'm neurotic as only had scan on Monday lol) but was getting nasty pains either side of my pelvis (found out since that they are my ligaments stretching) but put Doppler on and all is good. :j x

Hopelass - thanks for the tip, I've been using BioOil but its expensive! X

    Congrats Abis :) That's amazing.

Does anyone here keep a pregnancy blog or diary? I'm thinking of starting something and adding pictures (+ preg tests, scans, belly before, after etc) but not sure how to go about it.

If anyone has any ideas, that would be lovely to hear.

I bought a pregnancy journal which I will be starting to fill in, any day. I was a bit dubious about starting it before 12wks as did one last time then miscarried. I think it's a lovely idea though for digi pics, scan pics, appointments and general stuff (feelings, kicks etc). X

I'm now trying and failing to make the house look tidy for Friday when the midwife pays me a visit. We are currently doing the house up in a major way. The hallway is half plaster boarded & half bare brick, we have no skirting anywhere, we have doors missing, the bathroom is half tiled, the spare room is half plastered and full of the new doors.
It will be finished by the time the little one arrives but I don't want her to think bad of us because of how it looks at the minute :( Im trying not to stress but it isn't working.
