Hello
I've managed to get a doctors appointment for tomorrow morning, think Im about 7 weeks now, still no symptoms. Hoping dr will agree with my dates and I'll have my scan in 5 weeks. Cant wait for scan although I return to work week before so trying not to wish the time with my DD away!

Congratulations Sali & Betty on your scans!! :j:j
And yay for Cheryl and Angelmommy on hearing the heartbeat :j:j I dug my Doppler our and had a little try this morning. Way too early tho at 8+1I always was too early to POAS as well tho
Tooold - My booking in apt is on Tuesday, but I will be under consultant care. I was last year without the 2 miscarriages and partial molar complications  All it means is that you may get an extra apt at some point with the consultant - but mostly they don't get involved much. It just means a closer eye on you which is a good thing really, altho sometimes I wish I was just average and didn't need any extra monitoring
Vic - Defo agree it would be lovely to see some more TTC faces over hereYou have yr apt the same day as me next week
TTC - how did it go telling your boss?
I'm having such a rollercoaster with my emotions. Never thought it would be this hard emotionallyThis morning I was in such a negative place - kept thinking that things would go wrong and that I am going through all the sickness etc for nothing.
:( Was in tears most the morning
Am feeling a lot brighter now. Spoke to DH and managed some dinner which made such a different to my mood and how I was feeling. Think it is all connected, its like a vicious circle.
Married my lobster in July 2011
TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait
 2013 is going to be our lucky year :dance:0 -

I'm seeing the consultant too. I would have been referred anyway due to BMI but as I had seen the consultant privately anyway as a FS he said I would continue with him.
Boss was lovely. As expected she had no idea. I cried, she hugged me! I really need to work on this telling people lark as I can't cry every time!0 -

I'm under consultant care because of pre-existing diabetes, but know others who were also under consultants because of weight/age. I think they had more appointments than the "regular" midwife appointments, but might also have had a couple of extra scans (which is always good).

I am the same, I'm struggling to talk about it without welling up! I'm sure I wasn't this bad last time:o0 -
Hi all, lovely to hear about positive scans
I can't remember when my booking in appt is but I'm sure I'll be 9 weeks by then!
Feeling so incredibly sick I'm just struggling to eat. I keep craving certain things then just cannot stomach them.

Tooold - I'm under consultant too as had a miscarriage end Nov after trying for 6.5years and also have a heart shaped womb and suffer from blackouts/seizures. Got my first app straight after my 12wk scan on Monday.
Abis - hehe I'm so impatient too. I poas 2 days before I was due so didn't get my BFP until a few days after AF was due. I tried for heartbeat at 9+ 5 and couldn't find it until 10+1 but I have since found it easier to find without a full bladder plus I didn't realise how low baby is - he/she is on my pubic bone!
Vic - I agree; definitely need more BFPs on here. It's lovely whenever anyone joins but makes me feel especially happy to see someone graduate from the TTC thread. I must admit - I still stalk it occasionally to check if anyone has a lovely shiny BFP.

11+3
So do I! I was on there for 6 months so desperate to see some of the familiar 'faces' get their bfp.
Abis, I thought you were further along than me? I assume my scan will be mid may.

Please sign the above petition - it's to ask the government for funding into congenital diaphragmatic hernia's that can take the lives of newborn babies. If any of you saw One Born Every Minute a few weeks ago - it is what baby kaiden died from. Every signature helps. Thank you. Sorry if I have upset/offended anyone xDD1 June 1997

AngelMommy wrote: »Cheryl - they're great, aren't they. I've had an awful week with lots of sobbing, unable to eat properly etc so have been very worried but managed to find heartbeat each morning - massively put my mind at rest. I couldn't find it the first few times when i bought it couple weeks ago but didn't panic thankfully. I'm 11+3.
Betty - congrats on the scan, so many graduating to the next thread.:T
AngelMommy, It made me so happy. I tried the night before and couldn't find it, but didn't panic, but was such a relief to hear it in the end. Will see me through to my scan next week! I can see how they could cause panic though, so will try to limit my usage of it!0 -
Hi all,
Hope everyone is doing ok, great to hear about all the positive scans. I am now 10+4 and still dont have a date for my scan, how long did everyone else have to wait after booking in with midwife before they got their scan letter?
I'm getting very impatient waiting!
