And as I said much earlier, they didn't know what she needed from them.
Customer service = helping the customer. End. Of.
She asked a question, she got an answer. Perhaps the answer wasn't as detailed as she would have liked but that doesn't make the service poor. Maybe they should just employ psychics from now on.0 -

No thanks sweetcheeks, it's not the shape of cake I object to, merely the amount.
I just don't eat a lot of cake.0 -

Hi
I''ve forgotten to take a £1 with me to Sainsbury s a couple of times. I''ve asked at customer services for change and they gave me token to use. I think they should have charged me a £1 but they didn't't on either occasion. More with your feet and shop elsewhere.

Good customer service is giving options where they are available.
Perhaps they could have directed her to another store in that case where pounds are not required for trollies or maybe suggested she return when she does have cash or maybe even set up her own coin pressing business. The possibilities are endless.
*Edit* Forgive the sarcasm, it just astounds me that so many are reliant on others instead of thinking for themselves.0 -
Has common sense completely abandoned people these days?!
You want to complain because CS didn't give you a free use of the trolley and/or didn't tell you exactly what to do to get change?! The mind boggles.
If you are old enough to be pregnant, you are old enough to figure out if you haven't got change you need to buy something (with notes or on card) to get the change. Maybe an extra 5 mins to do max. Instead you go into a sulk because no one will bend over backwards and leave without doing your shopping. Nothing to complain to ASDA about, the staff did their job; you couldn't cope with shopping on your own - not their fault.

So lets gather the facts
- Customers should have common sense
- Staff shouldn't have to spoon feed
- Trolleys are £1
- Or you could use a token
- Top Girl doesn't eat cake probably because ASDA won't lend her a £1 coin for the trolley.
