All this talk of duvets. We need new ones too and pillows. Just remembered I have a 5 pounds off 20 voucher for Tesco direct. Might have a look for next month.
What is 13.5 tog is that quite thick? (sorry foreigner, still haven't figured out the tog system)DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Morning all,
Another NSD here - still freezing though - have turned up the Rayburn - fingers were about to drop off.
Have raised a rocket or two with the speech therapy for DS - left messages last week and no one had bothered to call back - anyway managed to contact the organ grinders rather than the monkeys this morning. Was initially told at least a 18 week wait  pointed out he had already been referred last year and we were left with an open appointment should we need to go back so this was ridiculous. Apparently it should now be less - have been given the name and number of the person who will get in touch on Thursday/Friday to book us in. Here's hoping....
On a slightly more fun note I have booked him into a trial session of Rugby tots on Saturday. Hopefully this will help his confidence and develop his "gross motor skills" (apparently these are also lacking) - will see if he likes it!! Just want him to start school with a good level of confidence but trying to keep perspective too. Parenting - its like a tightrope walk some days!!
Right back to work for me - a fair few hours to do before the end of Thursday so on I go.
Love to all, stay warm

13.5 tog is quite a thick winter duvet. 4 tog are thin summery ones and there's various in between. We once had a 4 tog and a 13.5 tog (I think) that press studded together, it was so heavy we could barely move under it :rotfl:
Must confess, I ended up at the Range and bought some card making bits. Only spent £4.75, I could've spent more. Also had to pay £4 for DH's Hospice Lottery subs (my charitable donation of the week:)) so it wasn't going to be a SFD anyway:p0 -
Oh I started playing with my (hopefully more realistic figures) for April and even made a graph comparing my projected progress on my debt prevention mission vs actual etc. I realised I still "wasted" £58 in March which is about a quarter of my other spend budget (for HH, treats, going out etc) on not really necessary things or drink and fags. This is still happening and needs to stop. I also counted taxis home from friends as I could've just stayed sober etc.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250

Thrifty I am loving this calculations right down to the last penny. Well done. It's great to see where the money is going!!! Just makes you even more determined right??“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0

OH MY FREAKING GOD! This is sooooooo loser, and not worth getting excited about but.....
I've been honing my spreadsheet template (thank you to everyone that helped) and decided to try and do some basic sums? calculations? I don't know what the word is, but something so I could stick some numbers in and it would do it all automatically.
I DID IT! I worked it out! I worked out how to get a total, and how to get the total as a % paid off.
It's the small victories :j0 -

My plan is to plan basically. I have a few outings before the 19th but i've either already paid or they are covered as a birthday treat etc. No physical cash will be withdrawn and the debit card will not be used. #hardcore. I shall spend nothing. Quite intrigued to see if i can do it.
Another SFD today. I did buy a few bits for a colleagues birthday present but used funds raised by other work mates.
