Holy jesus, this is like money spenders ananaomynous!

I Mayfair, do hear-by swear to clear my (our!) £4572 debt by 31/07/2013 - My 28th Birthday! But really i'd like it gone by 22/06/2013 - Husbands 28th Birthday. I will honour the MSE code of conduct, Will we use it?Is it worth it? Is it cheaper elsewhere? If the answer to any of these is no I won't buy it! This is MY life I am living and no-one else's, I will help myself so that in a few months I will be debt free and living entirely for ME. If I don't do this now I will regret it. I'll never have a new pair of boobs. Here I stand Mayfair fighting the fight for eternal debt freedom.

    I feel like a moron.

    I feel like a moron.

Sorry you feel like that. That's not my aim. Things get hard around this time of the month with payday a little further off that some of us would like. Just wanting to help...

It's all in the name of fun to an extent as I am finding the debt repayments hard. Reading this though is like a kick in the stomach.

I'm sure it wasn't meant in a bad way. Although it feels a bit like MSA (money spenders anonymous) but in a really good way with all the support and encouragemnet we get here :). It's good to see the target written out like this and give a wee pledge just to renew our motivation.

    Onwards and upwards....
finally tea total but in still in (more) debt (Oct 25 CC £1800, loan £6453, mortgage £59,924/158,000)

Ooooooohhhhhh, No no no no nooooooo!!! That was internet mis communication.

Kat, you know I think you, and what you're doing here, is fab, and that post clearly came out (typed out?) the wrong way. I'm very sorry if it caused offence.

**Toddles back off to the naughty step again* :D

Edited to add - I felt like a moron saying it. Not the process is moronic. Does that explain it better?

It's okay Mayfair.. I just get carried away sometimes and want to pass on the determination and instill some crazed money saving...I forget that I might actually come across as crazed. .. I just remember how people faltered in Feb around this time and wanted to share my enthusiasm to keep going....

I understand what you meant now ..Get off the naughty step though...:p

  • These days I'm "Mor on" top of the debt than its on top of me! :rotfl:
10 days to the end of the month and counting!!

    Anyways...
Day has taken a tumble -had DS review at preschool - has been suggested that he is re-referred for speech therapy. He starts school in September and although he is a very chilled happy little chap is very young for his age - in fairness he is only 4 in June! I would keep him back but his class at school is small and the other three boys will be going together in September. Last night dancing on the ceiling - this afternoon - gutted....

Off for a brew, too early for wine and I'm all out anyways! LAGL xx
    Debt free on the 28/05/13

Another SFD today, just some bits on expenses for a meting today.

I willdecline on the e8ay challenge - I only post listings on zero insertion fees on principal! But I will dig out an prepare 5 random things ready for the new zero fee weekend.

I think that it just shows that children are so individual, they move at their own pace. Your DS will get there in his own time.
