Evening everyone
So sorry I'm not managing to get on here every eve to post at the moment. Life just seems to be so manic at the moment. By the time I finally sit down in the evenings my eyes are so heavy I can barely stay awake, never mind switch the laptop on.
Been looking at spends so far this month. Already spent most of food budget (not updated sig yet) but have batch cooked for Britain last week and this so minimal should be needed for the rest of the month.
Went to NCT Nearly New Sale today. Went as seller selling loads of the twins clothes, toys and equipment that they have now finished with. Reckon I sold over half of what I took, but am also signed up for another one in 6 weeks time so will hopefully shift most of the rest then. Only purchased a couple of things - a couple of toys for the garden (as have absolutely none and live in hope hat the weather might get a little sunnier and warmer in the coming months - PPPLLLLLEEEAAASSSEEE!!!) Also managed to pick up some new cord trousers and t-shirts for them that were like new. Will have easily have made much more than I spent so all good.
Hubby working so hard at getting himself set up freelance at the moment since he was made redundant just after xmas. When it all happened so many of you said that there may be a silver lining and to trust in karma. YOU SEEM TO HAVE BEEN RIGHT!!!! Although hes working all the hours God sends at the moment, this seems to have been the making of him. His confidence speaking to clients has gone through the roof, he is loving being able to stay at home during the day with our twin baby boys, and the money he does earn is coming straight to us rather than straight into the childminders pocket. At the moment he has a reasonable amount of work on, so I'm hoping its not just an initial flurry. If he could just sustain this level of work, we could have paid off our credit cards by the end of the year, have started paying off our loans and be in a position to start planning for our long awaited loft conversion sometime towards the middle/end of next year. That is soooooooo exciting as being squished in a tiny 2 and a half bed (one room isn't even a box-room!!!) cottage with 4 children between the ages of 15 month and almost 15 years is no joke. Our tiny bedroom is now also hubbys office so when I go to sleep at night and he's working, its like tring to sleep on the contol deck of the starship enterpise with his 3 computer screens glaring!!!! Not conjusive to a good nights sleep let me tell you!!!!!!!! Tried an eye mask but I obviously wiggle too much - it kept catapulting off of slipping doen and making a good job of strangling me!!!! Hey ho - needs must!!!!!!!
Off now to get all hubbys accounts up to date for the last couple of weeks.
Hope everyone has a lovely evening and all the mummies get spoilt rotton tomorrow. When the children asked me if there was anything I would like, I said they didn't need to spend any money - just a whole day without any bickering would be the best present ever!!!!! We shall see!!!!!!!!!!!!! All I do know is that they have been locked in the bedroom all afternoon and there is a trail of glitter and tissue paper across the landing between the bedroom and bathroom that I am doing a very good job at ignoring!!!!!:rotfl:
Sweet dreams everyone.

That all sounds so exciting beckyboo, well done to you and hubby sounds like you both have worked hard at seeing an opportunity where others see a crisis!
I have been ironing, photographing and weighing lots of clothes etc for eBay and should be listing about 35 lots tomorrow - actually quite excited about it!
Homemade pizza today and made an extra couple of batches of bases for the freezer - I know I say so myself but they are so yummy I don even like eating pizza out or take away anymore.
Spend day today - lidl Black Forest ham really is tastier than Parma and is so much better value for money. A few other bits too but I am really pleased with myself as by now I would usually have spent twice to three times the amount I have. Onwards and upwards!Happiness is wanting what you have...0 -

Hi nannygladys
I'm here, I'm just lurking as I'm sooooo tired I haven't got the energy to chat. My hours at work have increased which is great for the purse, but not so good for me just at the moment as it's taking me a while to get used to them. Fingers crossed it gets better.

Good evening to you all!
Just because...
Just because I do not comment on your posts doesn't mean I do not read your comments...I do, and I am very impressed with many of you, many of you have challenges and are facing them heads high!
In February I have been in the south near Somerset and whilst there I recalled reading that Abundant lives nearby? ha ha ha is funny how you can start thinking about these forum users outside the net ha ha ha ha. Also, at the end of February I visited London, I was on one of these busy roads and I saw a lady on a motorbike and guess what? I recalled NSK.... Perhaps is her? ha ha ha so just because I do not respond to any of you or acknowledge your comments does not mean I am not reading sometimes and learning from you all...
Have a lovely Sunday... and mothers do enjoy our day!
Today reporting my 7th SFD!
I will succeed and you too!No debts 🙌0
