Haha I quite agree!!! Sainsbury's do LOVELY things for little girls, and I've also found loads of non pink items there
Same reason I love itActually I buy most of the girls clothes in there (that's most of the clothes for my girls, not most of the clothes in sainsburys!)
I love all the plum and navy, red and green stuff.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

That's not fair! We have a huge Sainsbury's near us, but their girls clothes are rubbish - lots of pink, and I rarely find anything I want to buy...
... Although with hindsight, that might not be a bad thing! :rotfl:
Delain, how's Squeak doing today?0 -
haha need to get a snowman suit from sainsburys to match LO's girlfriend lol. I'm also tempted by the robot sleepsuits but keep thinking I'll just wait for the next 25% off as it's not been too long since the last one.
hope LO gains weight and the sickness passes Kscarlet
I'm glad you're getting specialist support Oscar0 -

You will have to visit us thenalthough our sainsburys is not huge...
She was sick a few times yesterday afternoon/eve but apart from having a temp and being a bit sleepy she's been OK today
When I took the bigger girls to school I dropped a tub of chocolates into the preschool to say thank you for looking after her so wellThey really did put themselves out to help.
Edit: I've just tried to upgrade my mobile. Fingers crossed!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

My nearest one doesn't do clothes, but about a half hour away is a huge one with a great selection... And as LO won't nap unless I'm driving, she gets a decent nap if I go there win winhaha at least that's what I keep telling myself

I can't drive, but within about half an hour we have 3 clothes doing sainsburys and I can easily get to one, Can get to the other on 2 buses, and the other one, no wayMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

Lol delain you're lucky you've three to choose from! I can't understand why Sainsburys don't do clothes online. There isn't a Tesco anywhere near us that sells clothing, but they do sell online
Glad that Squeak has been ok today.
OH thinks I'm dangerous with an internet connection... I can ALWAYS find something I NEED, especially for LO.
Benice you have much, much more self-control than I do!
Claree sorry that Amazon were so thoughtless with their packaging. I often have the opposite problem - they'll send a HUGE box, with one tiny item in it. Could you perhaps get him a little something else that would be a surprise even if that is his main present?
sunshine hope you came up with a good "reason" for other half
Oscar not sure if you're familiar with this website or if you've tried these things already. We had issues with weight gain to start with and I was advised to increase the fat content in my diet (full fat milk etc). Breastmilk usually contains more calories than formula which is worth bearing in mind. Your baby is very lucky that you're persevering and as someone else mentioned, if you put your pump into the fridge between sessions, you only need to wash it once a day. Breastmilk itself is sterile so a good hot wash once a day will be ok.
lazywife hope that T has been gaining well. Remember, breast fed babies tend to have periods where they gain very little, and then periods when they gain a lot. Also, as they start moving and doing more and more, their weight gain will slow. Haha we're also doing BLW and I've taken A to be weighed twice since starting (more for my paranoia after her slow start with gaining weight). Anyway, the first time the HV was really big on how I HAVE to get her eating 3 solid meals a day blah blah. The second time she went on about how I shouldn't stress about meals but keep her on at least a few bfs a day as it will make it easier for me when I fly home... completely the opposite approach!
Lol re OH's... last weekend we stripped off the wallpaper in the dining room. So OH is a bit peeved that this week I've not finished scrubbing the walls down, filled in all the holes and done the first coat of paint - he's never had LO on his own (mainly as I bf). I think I might need to pop out tomorrow... on my own! LO has started taking water from either a doidy cup or a sippy cup
littleemmie Welcome :hello: and hope that you'll post again. Sadly I can believe your GP's comment  but well done for your perseverance! :T J is a lucky little boy
AFM, A got her first party invite today! I'd have accepted on the spot, but its on my birthday so had to discuss it with OH first as I threw all my toys out the cot and made him book the day off work. A's going to her first party next weekI NEED to pop to Sainsburys now as she doesn't have a party dress
We've had a few better nights so holding thumbs although I think I can see two teeth in her lower gum... so... who knows!
Nite all and hope that everyone else is well x0 -
I went to pick up a Tesco order last week and they had a huge great box with an indestructible lightweight roasting tray in it  wasteful or what! and all the other things that could have gone in the box were just everywhere in separate bags!!
BLW is great, but sometimes it seems as though they're not eating much, but I read somewhere one of the reasons there is so much childhood obesity is that we were teaching them to ignore their 'full' tummy signals by just stuffing baby food into them(and I did purees with my older 3!) They won't let themselves starve.
My OH has been off work and it's been really nice as he is super tidy. We've been considering both of us working PT to see if that helps us any, he wanted an outright swap but I'm not entirely comfortable with that.
My upgrade was accepted :j:j should get new phone Monday if not before. Am so glad as the phone I'm using at the moment is a pile of pooMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

morning
hope everyone had a good night. LO is being Jekyll & Hyde - screaming for a bit then happy smiley next. I think it's the return of the wind. Luckily OH slept downstairs - he seems to think that if there's 14 hours sleep to go round then he should have a block of 8 and I should have 6 split into 3 bits!Benice you have much, much more self-control than I do!

no, I just went mad in the Debenhams sale last weekend and I'm skint now- I love Rocha and Bluezoo stuff. LO is wearing this now, it's so cool.
HV gave me different advice on weight gain too. LO dropped from 25th to 2nd percentile when I went from combination feeding to EBF. He then followed the 2nd percentile for the last 5 weeks so the HV was happy. I saw a different HV for each weigh in at the children's centre and they all gave different advice and were at different levels of concern about his weight gain. I think we do know our babies best and what 's feasible in terms of feeds.
delain your OH sounds great.0 -
He is in some ways. can be quite annoying at times though, but I do his head in too so it all works out.
I love that babygroMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o
