Staying in tonight, which is no different to any other NYE, lol.
However decided we're going to order a chinese for tea once Scarlett is in bed. She's changed her time again for wanting her bed, used to be 8-8.30pm, now its an hr earlier.
No point trying to eat tea when she's having hers/then getting her ready for bed so we always eat once she is asleep now. Taken some getting used to but it's so much easier.
Resolution for me is to get back to my pre pregnancy weight. Lost 10 lbs so far and Scarlett is 12 weeks old so not too bad going I think. I'm back at WW and get it free for 6 mths as I lost all my weight before I had a baby.
My OH still gets on my nerves. He got up with Scarlett at 7am on Sunday which was bliss. I heard him say to her 'come on, we'll watch some cartoons' at which I thought awww how sweet.
It lasted until 8:30 am at which he bought her back into the bedroom with him saying 'mummy', opened my eyes and he was holding Scarlett right in front of my face.
Then last night whilst I was in the bath I could hear her crying. I'd had similar through out the day, she was only happy when over my shoulder and me standing up. Told OH that before I went in the bath but he kept calling out 'I don't like this, I don't like her being like this' (my thought - well derr neither did I but you just go through all solutions you can think of).
Of course my bath was very quick as couldn't bare her crying and him not listening to what I had said. He was then a bit dramatic with saying to me that if she was like this again tomorrow (so today) he wanted me to take her to the dr.....
Anyway hope everyone has a good NYE and best wishes for 2014. I've got Scarlett's 2nd lot of injections on Thurs, was mean't to be today but thought that was bad idea given its NYE.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -
Well, I suppose I should come over to this thread! Hello  It feels weird to be on the 'proper Mummy' thread and know that it's because I have a baby of my own - think I'm still in shock :rotfl:
Inara is now officially 8 days old and an absolute star - although BFing is tough due to my engorgement and her manic lunging and suckingAs a result we're combi feeding EBM and boob so it's a quiet night in with the pump for me tonight
Section is healing really well and DH is (for now) being a superstar with helping out - I'm doing all the feeding and he's doing all the changing. I love all the cute baby pics on this thread btw - everyone has such beautiful babies and I'm particularly fond of all the adorable outfits!
Hope you're all having a good NYE and that 2014 is a very special year for us all0 -

Hi - hope you had a good Christmas
- seems like this is a common problem, have you come across this thread?
Apparently there are seats that will attach to the isofix points that don't require the foot pole - but may need a 'top tether' instead.
I don't have your car though so will stop nosing in now, curiosity got the better of me
Aw Thankyou so much for looking for methat makes sense about a top tether, will google it. I can't believe for a family car how stupidly designed it is
xx
