a babyccino sounds yummy, might have to test one before LO tries it
has anyone got any recommendations for a travel cot?
we went visiting yesterday and got back at 10. I decided to use the opportunity to try a 11pm bedtime so gave baby last BF in bed 10-11 and put him down in moses basket at 11pm. He woke up in the basket and moaned a bit so I put the mobile on and he eventually went to sleep
OH had to change a very runny messy nappy yesterday in front of his grandparents who were very impressed with how hands on he wasit was a proper up the back 'un!
Mrs H glad you got a bit of time out - next time I hope you have more than 90 mins. Glad LO enjoyed swimming.
Daydream and Gilly I think I would like another LO but was thinking of an age gap of 2 1/2 - 3 years so first is a bit more independent.
Sorry to hear about the poorly LOs hope they get better soon. Claree glad your LO is back to smiley & cuddly.
Hope everyone has more sleep tonight
P.S. rainforest gym is only £30.14 at amazon0 -
Just in case - I got an email from boots today saying they're recalling bottles of their own brand 3months+ ibuprofen due to possible bits of plastic in the solution. Only affects bottles bought from September 2013 onwards. You can return to store for a refund or replacement.Newborn thread member

Nutella - this is going back a bit but were you after baby nurofen that isn't orange flavour? Or was it neither orange or strawberry that would do? Anyway, I saw strawberry flavour in sainsburys today and for some reason it made me think of you?!Newborn thread member

Aww, thanks for thinking of me and for letting me knowI was after paracetamol in a non-strawberry flavour. My LO refuses Calpol, but loves orange-flavoured Nurofen, so I was hoping to find orange-flavoured paracetamol. I still haven't found any, so if anyone else does, please do let me know!
How's G's cold? Hope you have a better night tonight x0 -
Can't help with the orange flavour but the 99p store paracetamol and ibuprofen are fab and much much cheaper than calpolMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

Thanks Delain, I need to get over my distrust of own brand/not leading brand medicine. Deep down I know it's probably the exact same thing and I'm just paying for fancy packaging and a logo, but I just can't bring myself to buy it for LO, even though I buy own brand stuff for myself. Very un-MSE and a wee bit irrational methinks0

I was the same until a friend of mine used it and was fine. The ingredients are the same, I looked!
School again tomorrow, so I know I really should be going to bed, but here I am on here and listening to music (with headphones!) so that'll be me wide awake for hours then
Hope everyone has been well, I seem to have spent most of my day tidying, hope the rest of you had a more exciting day :rotfl:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

I thought it couldn't be so easy for it be just sat there on the shelf! I'll keep a lookout anyway
G's not so great, thanks for asking though. Been coughing himself awake ever since I put him to bed, he's really wheezy too, sounds just like my OH when his asthma is playing up. I'm sleeping in his room as he was wheezing and thrashing around in his sleep quite a bit. Want to keep an eye on the little fella.
Hope everyone else gets a good night tonight. I'm shattered but don't want to sleep as it'll be hideous when he wakes 2 minutes after I've dropped off. Which he will, you can bet on it!Newborn thread member

Hope he sleeps okay katie. We have coughing too
tried his inhalers and propping him up but he is still going. Its horrible isnt it, poor things.
Nutella, I am the same re brands for A and I dont know why, I am certainly no snob. My mum bought asdas own bubble bath and shampoo to keep at hers and I was ever so funny about it! Need to sort myself out!!!

Morning ladies,
Hope G slept for you Katie and the coughing kept at bay! My oh has asmtha, it only really affects him around cats now but injury hope lo doesn't get it. My mum had breathing problems and I absolutely hate hearing wheezing because it brings it a back. Not good! So I hope lo is ok and had a restless night.
I'm the same with own brands, I think we think completely differently when it comes to lo. Totally stuck up hahaha! I'm sure we'll grow out of it at some point, well just have wasted money in the mean time!
Off to town this morning, lo has a cold again! Woke up in the night not being able to breathe out his nose so he slept on me for a while.
Hope it wasn't the swimming, I know it's prob this weather but all I wanted was to be able to take him swimming every week! Gutted!
Is everyone ready for Christmas? Any plans?Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0
