Morning all
Yay for a sleep through Katie
I wont talk too much about our sleep as I always jinx it but I would definately reccomend a pillow and quilt for the older babies, helped such alot here.
Nutella, you are so right about not being able to just check out baby clothes! Anyone remember me last week popping to Sainsburys for kidney beans and spending over 20quid....?! Point made
Have a good day all. Food shopping and tumble tots for us x x x xLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

No definitely not about the stockings, I'm waiting until we have our last one and then going to order all 4 stockings at once, as I want them all matching
(now that's definitely weird)
R.e Books, we can do Elmer/The Gruffalo that sort of length, but any longer and he just gets restless. I can do 3 or 4 on the trot though but they must have good pictures to keep him occupied. I have started bringing him back downstairs after his bath, and we sit up on the couch and read quite a few books and then he goes to bed!The frontier is never somewhere else. What age is everyone planning on moving to a single bed/removing cot sides?

I second this. Have to go to asda today to pick up a pre-ordered dress. I'm not even kidding myself that the dress is the only think I'll come out with.
A packet of salt & pepper crisps are also calling on me. Has anyone tried these? I didn't think I'd like them but now I'm hooked!
Is it ridiculous that I want to get personalised stockings for all 3 of us rather than just Eilis?
You have made me google personalised stockings....I want 3 now

R.e cot bed/single bed. A is 21 months almost 22 months and we had planned to take them off a few weeks ago as he seemed to have developed a phobia of the cot, but it passed and we have left them on. I'm not planning on putting into a bed until A - Night time potty training or B - he starts to climb out of the cot.The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

My youngest two had cot sides off at 14 months at OH's behest with Squeak and with little miss after she climbed out and fell to the floor at about the same age.
It's worked out really well actually and I don't regret it. A couple of times little miss has even been known to go and climb in with squeak which is super sweet
Raining a lot here today... luckily we got home just before the hailstones started :rotfl:
Have got one off school today as she was sick yesterday in (her sisters!) high up bed... cue me having to change the bed and clean off the sick that was running all down the wall _pale__pale_ she seems fine now but school rules state 48hrs after sickness.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

I second the pillow even for younger babies - mine has had Clevamama pillow (which is suitable for even the youngest baby - I wouldn't use just any pillow) from just a few weeks. She's never had reflux/is rarely sick and it helped the transition from moses basket to cot and travelcot too!(and has slept through the night from quite early on....again...I am aware that I could jinx this....!)

Afternoon ladies
Wow I don't think I've managed to catch up on here for ages!
We went to Spain for the half term holidays which turned out to be a total disasterNoah literally screamed all night, every night. I don't think he could cope with the change. We got home and he has gone back to sleeping all night again!
Not enjoying these cold, dark and wet evenings.
Hope everyone is ok.:)DS1 10yrsDS2 7yrs :)DS3 born March 2012

Would completely recommend weenotions for personalised stockings. I have had nappies from them and heard rave reviews about there stockings. There stuff is brilliant quality. If you add them on Facebook, they post pictures of all they make, and they've posted some gorgeous stockings recently.
You can find them hereThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0
