Hi Saf,
We've got a pair of Daisy Roots (from TKMaxx) they keep T's socks on.
Loving the Christmas jumper idea, I love dressing T up, boys clothes are so cute
Went out for a rather windy walk near the coast today, T was in baby carrier and loved it... very blustery in his face.

Thanks Gilly, I'm doing BLW and haven't made anything separate for A except for porridge fingers which she was hugely enthusiastic for the first day and hasn't wanted to know since. We all had tuna croquettes and salad for lunch today
I think part if it is I was so looking forward to weaning and she'll enthusiastically try everything - then pull this face at me as though I'm trying to poison her and then turn away from it the next time I put some on her tray! It probably hasn't helped that she's been on an antibiotic all week either and so has had that to contend with too.
Lazywife, do the Daisy Roots stay on though? I use sock-ons to keep A's socks on but any shoe she just pulls off either with her hands or by rubbing her feet against the carseat/floor/me etc.
Thanks for that Nutella; I bought her some Sainsbury's own brand mocc-ons (didn't know they were an actual thing) todayas willing to try anything to keep her toes warm, especially as I do enjoy going out for a walk and usually have her in a sling so her feet are out. If they work, may have to get her some more

Morning all
Hope everyone is well?
OH's teenage son is staying with us this weekend and LO is loving it. They adore each otherOH's just gone to bed after working all night - but we managed to squeeze in a family breakfast of pancakes first!
What's everyone doing today? No big plans here, but need to go to Sainsbury's at some point - probably best to go to the smaller one that doesn't sell clothes! :rotfl:
Lazywife, now I really want a pair of Daisy Roots for my LO - love love love the animal print ones!
Have a good day all x0 -
Morning,
Rebecca is going through a growth spurt I am certain, it feels as soon as I try to settle after a feed she is hungry again!
Needless to say I'm knackered & want some sleep!
Hoping to make some hobnobs today though to provide me with energy! & the oats help with milk production so must be really healthy! Especially if I add raisins right? Lol0 -

It will pick upjust a learning curve for them. Pretty soon she'll be gobbling down whole roasts

Me, I'd just go for the flapjack option, loads of sugar and butter and oats. Nom Nom nomThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
We've a suede pair of the Daisy Roots, and yeah, so far, stay on even if rubbed against the carpet. Not sure forever though.
BLW tried a bit of apple this morning and he loved it. Funny, the carrot and potato the 1st night he picked up tried (as best he could) and didn't go back to it. The broccolli was good, cheese a big hit too. Banana he liked, but it was a bit tricky to hold and the apple the best of all. Enjoying it so far, and he's given everything a bit of a lick0 -
Just been having a mammoth catch up, whoever it was mentioned Quorn, the two things to watch are, firstly it's very filling, so if they eat lots of that and have no room for other stuff, they might miss out on nutrients. Secondly, it does have salt in, so keep an eye on overall salt levels. My boy would eat it all day long0

Hello all :hello: Visitors have departed and now normality (such as it is) can resume
Hope everyone has had a good week with LO's, there's too much to read back (sorry!:o)
School chaos back tomorrow... looking forward to starting the walking again as I can feel the weight starting to creep back on even after just a couple of lazy weeks!
Little miss has got a short sentence: I can't do it! Been super cute listening to herMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o
