Evening all,
Lola sorry your oh is a pain, hope he improves!
Hope poorly babies are better!
Second Saturday running having some wine (don't judge) I slept like a baby last week after having two glasses so hoping tonight is the same, only one glass though.
Lo is trying to crawl but can't quite work out that having his hand in his mouth won't help him get on the move. His two teeth are causing him pain, he's been very clingy! But I don't mind! I miss him when he's not on me somehow lol!
Hope you all have a great weekend, sleep wellNewly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -
That is a frustrating time MrsH!
We are starting to have temper from little miss.

I like the leopard print one more, although would probably get a waterproof, fleecy inner one as my second choice coat for the super rainy days.
Have had a lovely weekend, my birthday yesterday, so a nice meal out early evening, T was general good, but took it in turns to all get up and cuddle him as his teething is making him restless and clingy too.
With the ill LOs and the teething ones, we've all had a child ponied to us for the last few days!
He's got both bottom teeth now, think the top ones are on their way, having to be more careful with bf now, making sure to stop as soon as he's done as I've had a couple of little bites when he's mistaken them for a chewy toy!?!?! Ow!

Nutella I second lazywife a waterproof coat with a hood is handy for our lovely British weather! I wish you hadn't posted the Next stuff, I'm now restraining myself from buying loads that DD1 NEEDS!! :rotfl:
I'm wondering if I'll be able to make it to the December Next sale. DD2 is due at the end of Nov so I might have a screaming bubs if I try to sneak out for a couple of hours plus I don't think I'll manage a lot of sleep. DD1 has so much lovely stuff from Next, but being different season babies I don't think she'll be able to wear some of it..... well that's my excuse!!Got married 13/11/10

The advantage is Lola with a brand new LO you'll probably be up anyway for the 5.30am start, you could sneak out with the new LO then, it won't matter if she's crying as there will be only desperately eager shoppers there anyway.
Never been a big next fan myself but their children's clothes are lovely (although massive for their size!)

It's Next jeans I like, except the sizing is a bit bizarre. I'm 5ft 6/7 and I have to buy the long leg... I've always found that odd.
I've got a couple of pairs on watch on ebay, I can usually get them for £5 odd a pair, which is a sight cheaper than £30 each!
Animal also have an outlet on ebay, I like their stuff, esp hoodies, and DD1 has been on about wanting one forever... I've just got her a lovely one for £13 :j to put away for Christmas.
We are pretty much done shopping children-wise.... Though I haven't a clue what to get little miss.
What is everyone else getting their coming up 2 year olds?Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Yay for sleep, Sunshine! We had a good night in the sense that I got quite a lot of sleep, but she ended up in my bed as she just wanted cuddles.
MrsH, my LO also went through a phase of not quite being able to crack the crawling thing - she'd try and try and just lie there, arms and legs flapping, instead of moving anywhere! Then suddenly one day it somehow all fell into place and that was it.
Katie, hope George is happier this morning.
We're having a quiet day today. Done some laundry and cleaned the kitchen, the breadmaker is at work and I'm about to start making frittata for our lunch. What's everyone else up to?
ETA: Lazywife, happy belated birthday! :beer:0 -
Oh, and re. coats - we do have a waterproof one with a hoodie too
although I'm not sure when we'll actually need it, as the garden at the nursery has a roof over it and she's in the buggy with the raincover on when we go out in the rain. Maybe for spring (it's big and will still fit her then), by which point I suspect she'll increasingly be refusing to sit in the buggy... That's when I might introduce her to puddle jumping :j
Never been to the Next sale - the thought of it makes me want to scream! Soooo not a fan of crowds and busy places! I tend to avoid the shops between xmas and new year tbh...0 -
I put some washing out this morning. It is now looking very sorry for itself in the tipping down rain
When the downpour eases up I will go and get it, but can't face it now. I suppose I should have been expecting it after the thunder and lightning at 6am but it looked like it was brightening up out there at the time
One of OH's friends is coming over for Sunday lunch... so I'm in the middle of cooking a roast. Smells amazing but not ready for a while yet.
Anyone else find their LO gets too hot if they have a coat on and a buggy raincover? I've had some odd looks from older people if LO just has a jumper or cardi on with the cover... but if they wear a coat they go all red and get a bit hot and bothered!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o
