  • Delain, the girls are the same if they wear a jacket in the pushchair with the raincover on. Its like a mini greenhouse

Mollies 4th tooth is now through. So now she has the bottom front 2 and 1 at either side of where her top 2 front teeth should be. Anyone else had these teeth come through before the front ones? Is it 'normal'?

Nutella the number of people can be obscene! I went with my mum when I was 6 mth pregnant with DD1 and love her she was trying to protect me. She's about 5'2, I'm 5'6, I probably had a couple of stone on her as well and I'm a police officer!! I guess once a mum always a mum!

I didn't want anything for myself it was all about the kids section. She has winter coats in the wardrobe for the next couple of years as I couldn't resist. DH adores a red coat with fur collar, but I'm sure it's 3-4 years and she's only 18 mths now!!
    Got married 13/11/10 :)
    DD1 born 25/03/12 :D
    DD2 born 28/11/13 :D
  • Cake - yep that happened to my friends lo, in fact she got all the side 4 before the top front :)

I'm paying for one glass of wine today!! Can you explain why one glass has given me a stinker of a headache!!

Need to pop to asda to get lo some food and us some bits, the house is bare!! But asda on a Sunday is horrible! Wish me luck!

Cake, teething is what it is! There isn't really a normal. Some babies are born with teeth, others have none at 1 :) and as long as the girls are getting teeth I wouldn't worry about what order they come in.

MrsH shop online. We do it every week :D I wouldn't go back to going every week now. Sometimes we do actually go to Tesco but not often.

Well I must go and load the dishwasher (again) and then get on with the other housework I suppose *sigh*

Little miss had a super cute moment earlier. She was playing in the garden when it started to pour down, and she was stood in the garden saying 'raining!'

my husband has just said he doesn't feel comfortable bathing our son because he feels strange washing him. he said it is a man thing. Is this normal? My friends husbands seem fine with it. He changes his nappy with no problem. He seems embarrassed so don't want to question him further but this has worried me and seems a strange comment.

Hmm, that's not my idea of a man thing. Particularly as your baby's a boy. It would make a bit more sense if you had a girl, but a boy? Seems odd for a man, let alone a father, to worry about this.

It sounds like a bit of a cliche, but what was his own childhood like? Did something happen to him? Or did something happen the last time he bathed your son? Does he feel it's too intimate? Did your little one get an erection or something? Does your OH know that this happens a lot with baby boys? I'm asking lot of questions that I know you probably don't know the answer to but that's where I'd start if I decided to pursue it. Which I would. I know it might be difficult to bring it up again but I'd probably not want to let this one go. I don't think you need worry exactly, but a bit more explanation wouldn't go amiss. But I'd go careful. And, at the end of the day, if he's not comfortable, he's not comfortable. Not much you can do. But I'd still want to know why.

    Awww, that's so sweet! :)

I'd second the online shopping comment - I can count on one hand the number of times I've done a big in-store food shop since LO was born. I do a big online order every couple of weeks and then just do little top-up shops during the week (and never during the weekend as it's so busy). Definitely the way to go* :D

*Just make sure that if you want to change the quantity of an item from 1 to 2, that you actually do change it rather than add a 2. Not doing this could mean ending up with 12 courgettes. I've spent a lot of time on BBC Good Food's 'Top 10 things to do with courgettes' site this week! :rotfl:

I did it the other way with ASDA... Instead of 1 kilo of carrots, I ordered 1 carrot :o roast dinner for 7 with one carrot :rotfl:I ended up saving it rather than everyone just getting one little piece each!

I've just looked at tomorrow's weather and it says heavy rain all morning  I've dug up Squeak's waterproof snowsuit (ebay bargain!) and told the big monsters to find their wellies. I don't know if they've twigged yet that we will be walking to school regardless ;) the bus is always really late on rainy days so we get just as wet waiting for it, though children seem to struggle to understand this and will doubtlessly complain all the way there :rotfl::rotfl:
