Thanks for your coat comments
Sunshine, I went for the second one in the end - glad you approve! Delain, last year's winter coat (navy tweed one) came from Sainsbury's, bought when they had 25% off
Sunshine, fab pictures - he's grown soooo much! Love the one of him hoovering - he clearly takes housework very seriously! :rotfl: Which outfit are you getting for picture day?0 -
So grown up Sunshine! How is he today?
George was up 3 times overnight, then up at 6.50 for the day - and when I went in he'd done a hideous poop - not exactly what I wanted to wake up to! Definitely going to get some yakult type stuff today.
Love all those coats Nutella! I'm getting very well disciplined in not looking at things if he doesn't need anything. Its the sainsburys 25% days that I'm a sucker forNewborn thread member

He isnt too bad today, stuck on my knee atm though and I am still in my pjs! Its a struggle to get dressed!
He was up twice in the night too and had a runny nappy. Im planning on getting some yoghurts too.
I love sainsburys 25% too, always get something. Even just basics like socks and vests. Got him a winter coat from there last time although its huge for him haha.

My eldest daughter is due to have baby 30 November this year. I've got the day off on Friday 1st November and she finishes work day before. I would like to take her to a pamper spa day for mums to be and myself and her sister ( who are not pregnant lol), in Manchester city centre.
Maybe a facial, manicure, massage, nice lunch etc. Can anyone suggest anything please. Looked at groupon deals but nothing suitable.
Thank you very much for any replies. x
Hi Moneygrabber
I had a pregnancy massage, facial and pedicure done at the spa at Debenhams in Manchester city centre earlier this year: I can't remember how much it was but they were great staff and I loved the experience. There was supposed to be afternoon tea included but to be honest it was a bit ordinary and for a special occasion I'd go somewhere else. This place isn't too far away from Debenhams and is quite fun: http://www.richmondtearooms.com/0 -
Just wanted to vent a bit!!
I had a massive blow out at my DH last night. I'm just so tired being 35 wks pregnant and he's just being a kn0b. He moans about having to get up and look after the DD1 on the 2 days I go into work early, what about the 8 days I don't have to be up early?? I'm always the one who gets up and gets her milk whereas he lies in bed until God knows what time. He stayed in bed until almost lunchtime the other day, I went out with DD1 and when I got home for her afternoon nap he was snoring away in bed so had obviously gone back to bed!!!
He really hacked me off as he's always getting his family to babysit so that he can go out to skittles/darts/pub quiz.
He said that I could have a lie in yesterday, did I get one did I he11!!
Oh and when I say get up with DD1 it's not like she gets up really early, she wakes up and then will lie in her bed so when I naturally wake up at about 8.15 I go in and she's happily messing around in her cot bed, but there have been a few occasions when DH hasn't gone into her until 9am.
He works from home so can get away with working as much or as little as he wants- usually the latter! He does do a lot of the cleaning, washing, tidying etc.
He text me earlier to say "You could have told me you'd used all the milk", well I finished it off at 6.30am this morning so next time I'll wake you up to tell you shall I??? Pill0ck!!!
I think his way of grovelling a bit was to put a smelly reusable nappy wash on after I'd gone to bed. I came down in the morning and found the washing machine blinking at me, he usually leaves this to me as they absolutely reek! It's lucky I don't get morning sickness as I know some ladies have had to revert to disposables whilst pregnant.
And breathe!! Rant over now, thanks for reading this far if you've managed itGot married 13/11/10

Evening all
Hope your Saturdays have been good so far, and that our two poorly little men are feeling better. We went to our 'other language' playgroup this morning, which was nice - LO screamed in protest when we had to go homeMade flapjacks this afternoon and then spent the rest of the day building all sorts of weird and wonderful Duplo animals
X Factor and pizza coming up!0 -
Hey everyone.
Sorry you are having a bad time Lola, hoping your OH pulls his finger out soon with a new baby not far away. Rant to us whenever you need to hun.
Quiet day here, still runny nappies but I did get some activia and he had one after tea. On the hunt for postman pat xmas bits for him, he loves him!! Saw a cuddly pat in home bargains so may get that next week.
Stilton burgers for tea here...and xfactor. Standard sat night!!!

I seem to have done nothing but housework today... OH did annoy me earlier as he was just mucking about on the computer while I was really busy trying to sort out the mountain of dirty stuff he'd left from breakfast(!) and he started going on about how I never do any housework?! then about how I never take the kids out?! (both lies!) anyway I bit his head off and he took them to the park, so I obviously hit a nerve
He is good in letting me have a lie in at weekends, but he always goes on about how tidy he is and does it as he goes along etc. then leaves half the kitchen covered in dirty dishes for me to sort out. Wasn't happy!
Have just made an offer on season 1 of game of thrones on ebay... I've just read all 6 of the books in a row so now I want to put faces to the charactersMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o
