I hope so, OH is trying to put him down now, been just laying on my knee but I've got a deadline so if he will go off for even just a bit I can try and rush it in case he's up in the night. If not I'll sit up with him and they'll have to manage with it being late though. Temp has come down a smidge since earlier atleast.

I agree that the suction bowls are fab :) We have the Munchkin ones; I bought a set of two plates and two bowls. They stick brilliantly to our glass dining table, but as Fluff said they don't work on wooden tables unfortunately.

Katie, hope George sleeps off whatever it is and that you're able to meet your deadline x

Awww, that's cute! My LO's favourite pasta is ricotta and spinach tortellini - presumably because they're really easy to pick up and have more flavour than individual pasta swirls and the like since they're little parcels filled with yummy stuff :D They do contain salt though, so I make my own salt-free sauce to make up for that :o

Speaking of which, I was watching 'Food unwrapped' last night and they were talking about pasta, and the fact that fresh pasta contains more protein than dried because the fresh stuff has egg in it. It was a real 'd'oh!' moment - why had I never thought of that before? With my LO being veggie (-ish; she eats fish at the nursery), I'm always looking for ways to add more protein to her diet without overloading the poor girl with lentils, beans and eggs, so from now on it's fresh rather than dried pasta all the way! :)

My LO loves tortellini, it's my DH's go to food when I'm in work. At one point she had it 3 nights in a row and he was too scared to tell me as he knew I would tell him off!! Luckily she loves it, not fussy on what flavour any will do.

Just spoke to DH as he looked after LO after I left to go to work. She was wearing a dress and a reusable velcro nappy and she managed to undo it after she'd done a huge poo and she had it all over her hands so he had it all in his hands as well as he had to pick her up!!

Enjoy your activity day Delain :)

I never thought of getting fresh pasta for G - OH cant eat it so we never have it. Might treat the two of us when OH is at work one day.

G slept through til 6am - he'd probably have gone back off but I misread the clock! Seems better but very clingy.

I have a pasta hater here, he used to eat it but for the past 6 months he won't touch it  Not a big deal as I don't do pasta that often, type of thing I eat and then 30 minutes later I'm starving again. :o Just means I have to get creative with things like Bolognese, and serve it with things other than pasta!

Where is the best place to get these sucky plates/bowls? EVERYTHING gets thrown on the floor here so I'm thinking these may be a god send.

Delain - have a nice time today, we are off to an activity/funday next Friday. They always manage to keep the kids occupied for a while.

We are off swimming with friends again this afternoon. :D and we are off to monkey world on Friday...........so excited :)
