Thanks moneypenny; I know I'm not alone and that helps but at home it does often feel like I am alone iyswim. I've always been a very light sleeper - DH turning over in bed used to wake me. I'm BF so I have to get up with A to feed her. She only tends to wake for feeding at night and in the past (9 weeks tomorrow) DH has woken up once with A. She took a tiny bit from the bottle this evening, with quite a few tears thrown in. Came to me, settled, had 2 min of boob and fell asleep. Not really a success
Will try again tomorrow.
Fingers crossed we all have a good night tonight ladies

Little one has horrible eczema
its all up the back of her poor little legs
its been getting worse and worse so tomorrow we'd best be up to the doctors for some steroid cream as her big sisters has run out and after 2 lots of that it had been getting better.
Boo to no sleepsqueak (almost 3) has developed an irrational fear of flies  we live in an area prone to them so that could be a problem... Trouble is she's woken screaming that they are in her room a few times. And as a baby she was a totally perfect sleeper so those with well behaved babies now might get their comeuppance
Have been to Tesco and got lots of bargains... Big slices of watermelon for 16p, cream cakes for OH 31p :j bread for 25p and still softnot that I'm sad or anything
MrsB the pics are great
Hope everyone has a better night tonight xMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Marta, she only decided to leave after what I said though. I hope she's still getting support and has someone to talk to
Delain, don't say that!!! I've been thinking it... He's probs gonna end up a right horror bagthough I dunno. Everyone we meet comments on how "chilled" he is. He really is! I think it might just be who he is... And I hope that doesn't change hahahaha!

Bamama - I saw a personalised candle (random I know) with dewi on it when I was on my hols in Wales and thought of you! How is it pronounced? Great news that he has gone down early!
Marta - Ahh gosh so sorry about workI, dreading it. Sorry V is poorly too
thought little miss had a bug today too but think she had just wriggled so much she threw up a few times on the run! Hope she gets well soon!
Saffa - that sounds exactly like our situation, I had no success with bottles until I gave her a mam bottle and swear by them now.
Any ideas for things to keep little one in/entertained its while I do some things in the house? The jumperoo is the only thing that she doesn't cry in after 15 minutes and I don't want her bouncing for hours. The playpen, cot and highchair are fine for 15 mins before she gets stuck in a corner when crawling around or wants to be fed (not at feeding times) then starts crying and wnt settle until she is on my knee.she can escape the bouncy chair so thats gone in the loft, So far a baby snug seat and standing only activity centre have been failures she hates both. The jumperoo is the only thing (apart from sitting on my knee) when she doesn't cry, I think I've been spoiled by her sitting nicely in her chair for an hour or so when she was younger but she's now such an escape artist! Just wondered if I haven't thought of something obvious to try?0 -
I dunno moneypenny, about the activities. Dewi is a bit hit or miss as to whether he'll entertain himself. He's sometimes content to lay on a mat and talk to his toys for 30+min. Other times he'll cry as soon as I move away.
The best way to explain how to pronounce it is a bit daft but it's "dare we". Which part of Wales did you go to?0 -
Snacks, lots and lots of snacks in the highchair moneypenny, and some telly
Mother of the year award hereThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Well we had a chilled day like I wanted oh took lo on a walk so I hoovered, had a shower and straightened my hair ready to pick my sis up to see the christening do venue. Then a hr before I go to pick her up she texts me to let me down!
Thing is she's one of those that has an excuse for everything, instead of saying I can't be bothered, etc she would rather lie and fake a sudden onset of vom! However, bored of it now!
So looks like I'm doing decs myself grNewly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -
I'll bear the snacks one in mind for when she is a bit older! Thanks Gilly
tv does work a treat! Think when she can sit up and play she might be happier... (?!?!)
Bamama - abersoch it was lovely! Yeah little miss Can be ok sometimes then other times so restless ! She definitely starting to cry if I leave the room0 -
Ah. Up the top then. I'm right down on the south coast. Do you enjoy? We tend to holiday down Cornwall.
These babies are odd creatures. That's all I can say! Dewi woke at 2 for a feed and then went back down until 7.30ish.... He was awake and happy so I'm assuming he woke a bit before I heard him. Deffo likes his own room.
Mrsh2b, can't believe she let you downI hate people like that. But at least you could relax and shower in your own time!

Cake4brains, I give LO shop-bought crumpets, but she only has one every few days, so I think that's fine. Pancakes - I don't use a recipe or measure anything, but just use egg, milk and flour (no salt or sugar) and then usually mix in some mashed banana or blueberries.0
