The jumperoo is the only thing that she doesn't cry in after 15 minutes and I don't want her bouncing for hours. The playpen, cot and highchair are fine for 15 mins before she gets stuck in a corner when crawling around or wants to be fed (not at feeding times) then starts crying and wnt settle until she is on my knee.she can escape the bouncy chair so thats gone in the loft, So far a baby snug seat and standing only activity centre have been failures she hates both. The jumperoo is the only thing (apart from sitting on my knee) when she doesn't cry, I think I've been spoiled by her sitting nicely in her chair for an hour or so when she was younger but she's now such an escape artist! Just wondered if I haven't thought of something obvious to try?

Hey, that's pretty good going. I just leave Freddie to shuffle around after me crying"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Madam is napping now! Shes stuffed to the brim with snacks and has square eyes from watching the tv. On the plus side my house is sparkling!
(In reality I've had to deal with food on walls and leaky pooey nappies followed by much "tired but fighting it" crying and the house looks like a bombs hit it! - oh well they are only tiny for a wee while! I'll miss this when I go back to work!)
Thanks for the suggestion though Nutella

Oh we have that too, trying to put my contacts in this morning, and had a small person hanging from my leg screaming. It's fun being a mum isn't itThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
When I've been busy doing housework jobs I sometimes give George a tin full of noisy things to bash about. One of the tins that choccies come in at Xmas with wooden spoons, spatulas etc. things that he wouldn't normally play with but that are (obviously) baby safe. Makes a racket but it keeps him relatively entertained while I do something useful.

Hope you get the decs done mrsh2b.
