That's a bit revealing - perhaps it's his hearing. Did he have the newborn hearing test? When they ping something down the ear? Freddie had it when he was a day old.

And of course things will be OK. My nephew was as deaf as a post, no one could understand a word he was saying but he's absolutely fine now. They'll get to the bottom of it and get it all sorted :)

Yeah he had his newborn test and everything was fine. If he hears Mickey Mouse on the tv or I sing 'wind the bobbin up' (his fav song!) he turns straight to me. I recieved his appointment in the post today, it's for the 23rd July so at least we don't have to wait long. I think it could be selective hearing. :)

Does anyone else finde this urge qhen you buy something you can not stop ? Ive got in my mind that i have to sell my quinny buzz 3 ( i really have to, as we usually go shopping with mil as i dont drive yet but her mum now needs a wheel chair, so mil can not take us both cos the car has not space for a wheelchair and the quinny and i feel mean, as nana is 91 and literrally is always ready waiting in her house for someone to take her out. So i decided to buy a baby jogger citi mini, yes expensive but iwas going to sell my quinny anyway.
Then i decided well my back always hurts because she likes being carrier, i should buy a MAnduca, then i did... so i have spent £300 between today and yesterdar.... BUT ive sold my quinny, she is paying me £150 for it on friday, and oh has said he will give me £100 for doing some paper work for him... best part ? i still have the car seat which a friend says she wants to buy from me as she wants to get pregnant soon... if i sell it for £35, the difference will be £15 :D ohh i paid for the quinny and car seat £180 brand new on ebay and £20 for the carrycot, not bad as i ve used for 5 months and the carrycot for naps and as night basket.

Uhm, yes - I've had one of those days today! :o Having already bought all that stuff I mentioned earlier, I've now also just bought two bath books for LO and a Rose and Rebellion carrier, and signed up to organic fruit and veg boxes again (I used to get them delivered every week, and I miss them a lot) :D

We've had one of those days too :o for once wasn't kids stuff tho! We went on m&m direct for stuff for OH as when we moved bedrooms I binned his scruffy, trampy, old or too small stuff and that didn't leave him much so he was well overdue for some clothes.

I sneaked in two pairs of rocket dog flip flops because my old flip flops are about 1mm thick where I've walked them to death and I could feel individual stones in the road as I was walking  altogether it was more saved than spent :)

Poor baby still not happy even though it was cooler today. She has been so snotty you wouldn't believe, so I'm guessing Shes got germs :(

Squeak does wind the bobbin up at nursery and she keeps wanting me to sing it for her, but I don't know how most of it goes :o

Will do! :) I went for the one called Secret Garden. I looked up sling libraries, and the one nearest to me sounded like a real faff ('expect to wait for at least an hour as we get extremely busy', miles from any useful public transport option and so on), so I decided to just order it and if I really don't like it I can always return it free of charge. Although I hope I'm going to love it :D

    Hallo ladies

Muggy here too though it is drizzling. A has been sleeping just in a short sleeved vest the past few nights as despite having windows open the inside temp has been a constant 24deg since Wed.

We've had the coolest weather here. Not got above 21degrees so T is in sleepsuit and 1 tog grobag still. Seems happy enough.

We're on our holidays this week ... Wayhay! Off to Center Parcs with my Mum and Dad, Sis, BIL and 2 nieces. Should be good, we've been before as a family outing so we've T this time to add to the fun. We've got some swim nappies and a cute swim suit to see about the pool. Not sure really, not had his jabs yet, but it's ok to go swimming, more will have to gauge how warm it is, don't want him getting chilly. Although I think he'll hold his own. He's 7 weeks now and a chunky monkey, weighing on93rd percentile so more like a 2.5 month based on his size.

Hope everyone has had some sleep last night.

    L.xxx
