Nutella - viewing wasnt good no
it was a old 1920's house, but had been rented out for 3yrs and just not looked after. The owner hadnt even hoovered or cleaned the skirting boards, they were really grubby and there was alot of damage to the walls and floor. Plus OH didnt think it looked structurally safe. Oh well, keep looking!!
We should not boast about the good sleeping, seems to be a jinx!!
Been at soft play all afternoon so fingers crossed!
Mrsb - how was the photoshoot?

Haven't read back. Just a quick skim and saw my name. It wasn't too bad Marta. I'll tell you more tomorrow. I'm shattered! But the main point is that Dewi was perfectly well behaved! He did start to fuss the beginning of the service but that was quickly rectified when he pulled OH's glasses off his face and played with them XD0

Morning ladies,
Lo had a nightmare last night (I think) started screaming like he was in pain so I picked him up but he was still screaming so I laid him on my bed and rubbed his hands and stroked his face, still wasn't awake. So I picked him up and all of a sudden he woke up, we cuddled and he went back to sleep. But I was so worried for him it took me hours to get to sleep!
He's been waking up screaming at nap times this is the first time he's done it at nightNewly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -
Mrsb I'm afraid we never got him used to a bottle either - was fine when we first tried at about 4 weeks but after that just the sight of a bottle sent him into a paddy. I second what Gilly says - either the most boob like teat you can get or depending how old he'll be when you have to leave him just leave a sippy cup and food (if at weaning age). As he gets bigger you'll be able to get to the gym (what is this gym?!) between feeds anyway so try not to stress too much.
Boo to the viewing sunshine, I don't understand people like that, what's the point of getting people over to view of you're not going to even clean the place!
In other news, I finally gave in and we have cut G's hair! He looks ok, he's got his spike back as it was so long it was just flopping over. He went batty though, I don't know if proper hairdressers have a trick to keep them sitting still but we ended up with me sat on the floor holding him (and getting covered in hair) while OH cut.Newborn thread member

Morning ladies
Another bad night here - awake from midnight to 2.45, so I've had 4 hours sleep. It's going to be a long day at work. I think she's teethingHope everyone else had a better night. Mrshaworth2b, nightmares are horrible, aren't they?... My LO sometimes wakes up screaming too, but cuddles seem to do the trick most of the time.
Parents meeting with LO's key person at the nursery this evening - looking forward to hearing how they think she's getting on!
Have a good day all x0 -
Katie, good to hear he's got his spike back!
We put LO in the highchair to cut her hair - at least then she can't run off. It still needs at least two people though - one to distract her and keep her fingers away from the scissors and one to cut. The latter is my mum's job

Daddy's just the guinea pig - once he's perfected his technique he'll move on to mummy0 -
My baby will only do kisses at bedtime! And even then its more like being eaten by a frog
Busy busy here today. If only I could get motivated
Squeak was rather sweet this morning. I don't take kindly to dawdling and taking my older lot this morning were slooow... They were like elderly snails and I had to keep telling them to hurry up the whole way there. So when squeak is out and walking leaving school I asked her if she wanted to go back in the buggy (in case she was cold!) And she said 'no, I can go faster!' And ran offclearly she thought I wanted her in the buggy.because she was slow :rotfl:
Hope everyone who had a bad night last night has a good one tonightMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Aw how cute! I'm sure he'll make up for it. G doesn't do kisses, closest I've got is him trying to gnaw on my collar bone when his teeth are bothering him. I tend to get fairly good results if I hold my arms up and ask for a cuddle though, so can't complain.
He's snoozing now so I've cleaned the kitchen and as this is the first day in a good couple of weeks I've not had work on I'm sitting on my bum eating crisps, and not even feeling very guilty about it. Should do the shred or something vaguely useful...meh.
