    Hallo ladies :)

    Fluff Freddie is adorable!

Bamama glad that the christening went well and Dewi enjoyed it

anibell Happy Anniversary for the weekend

mrs_b it is so easy to worry about our little ones, especially as they can be so contrary! Fingers crossed that you find something that LO is happy with (and keeps taking)

martella & daydreambeliever can I join you in the rubbish sleep gang please

Yesterday A let me transfer her off me onto the sofa once she'd fallen asleep in the afternoon so OH and I managed to make some proper progress with the decorating. Last night she wasn't good and today... well, this morning I thought I'd see if she could send herself off to sleep so after her morning feed, I put her down when she was sleepy but not quite asleep. Popped her down and sat with her a few minutes and she continued to seem sleepy and happy so I then brushed my teeth, went to the loo and brought the laundry upstairs by which point she was wide awake and screaming. A was not happy that mommy had left her and made sure I knew about it! Since then every time I've put her down today, even to change her nappy, she grizzles. Thank goodness for my wrap else I'd not have managed anything today! Won't be trying self-settling again for a little while I think! At night though, she stirs sometimes and then goes back to sleep on her own? So much for any progress with decorating today.

But, I have listed my first two items on ebay! I am having a clear-out of some bits and pieces that I've accumulated over the years.

A has got her first jabs tomorrow - hope they don't upset her too much!

Hope everyone has a better night tonight

Saffa - my lo has always managed to get himself to sleep at night but never ever let me put him down during the day until about a month ago! So I know how your feeling. Now he can get himself to sleep for a nap but I used to have to hold him all the nap time.

Nice quiet day here today, oh has a week off so trying to think of things for us to do, went on a 2 hour walk today however. Now lo has had his last bottle and is asleep on my shoulder. Hoping he doesn't scream again tonight.

Banama glad the mother and mil didn't cause too much trouble I know you were worried. I can't wait for lo christening in August. We have a lot of kids coming so what do you think to a couple of party games? Is that silly at a christening? :)

No, not at all. I think that christenings shouldn't be stuffy affairs and doing something for the kids is a lovely idea. Freddie's being done this Saturday. We've arranged lunch at a local hotel for everyone afterwards and I was pleased to see they've got a bouncy castle in their garden*.

    * We haven't actually got any kids coming bar Freddie and he can't walk yet, let alone bounce. I'm just planning on getting hammered on champagne and going on it myself.

Excellent idea! :rotfl:Now there's a photo we'd really like to see on here! Yay for Freddie photo too - seeing his little face always cheers me up :D

I agree that some games for the kids is a good idea - bored and grumpy children do not a happy gathering make.

Fluff... You absolute nutta! His little face makes me grin like a loon. Dewi is damn cute. Freddie comes in joint second with my friends little girl though :)

Yea it was good Mrsh2b. We had a bubble machine (el cheapo from a bargain store) and some helium balloons! Children don't need much more tbh. They made a game of letting the helium balloons hit the ceiling and calling an adult to help get it down. We also had a grass area outside where they were playing. It used to have slides and swings but they went :(

Good luck with Freddie's, Fluff. Does he have an outfit? Dewi had a lovely suit. Trousers, shirt, tie and even a waistcoat XD
