Mrshaworth2b and Sunshine, I'm staying here chatting to you two! :)

    Sammie, glad camping was good!

We don't have any plans for the weekend, although I suspect tomorrow will be Duplo Day - OH is working and it's supposed to be raining, which means lots of playmat time with LO. Also have a million and one things to do round the house. The excitement!

Will catch up later - train is approaching my station, am picking up LO x

    Mrsb...whats your photoshoot?x

It's a boudoir shoot :) A friend knows a photographer who is looking to move into boudoir photography & we've both done a few shoots so we're going to be guinea pigs tomorrow. I've been itching to get back in front of the camera, it'll be interesting to see how I look since having George!

My A is just into a 5, but he's still wearing his size 4 converse. He is really short with average to biggish feet, no idea what's going on there

Mrsb... How do you find lactolose ? We've just been prescribe it for my lo because of him being constipated on this staydown milk for his reflux? Dr didn't want I go down medication route for the side effects so decided to treat the constipation instead but I'm wary of using it on a 3 month old so wondering about others experiences?

I was a bit wary of using it for George as when I was given it during pregnancy (and still using now!) it was explained as encouraging more water to be absorbed into the bowel to soften poo & George has no problems with having hard poo, he just struggles to go particularly often, then gets grumpy about it until the poonami arrives which I certainly didn't want to be any more liquid than it already is!

That meant I struggled to see how it would help him but the Dr on Sunday explained (as I understood it!) that it means more water is absorbed into the bowel, so means the the bowel thinks its fuller than it is so the action to empty is triggered quicker :)

It does result in some interesting, even runnier, poos but if your LO is struggling with more solid poos then you might avoid that downside! It definitely worked though. We'd already given him 2.5ml before we saw the Dr, he told us that if there was no sign before bedtime to give him another 2.5ml & then if still nothing by lunch to go back to the Drs...George pooed at about 10am :)

I can't get over how many times the word poo featured in that post lol :)
