I'm good. Thanks for asking Saf. Just being a bit of a miserable cow lol. Weather is miserable here. Hope it's not like this for this christening0

Hi, has anyone had experience of their child going to nursery on a full time basis? I am having to return to work full time (financially we can not afford for me to go part time) when baby is 9 months. When I think about it I cry. I am dreading it. I am so worried he will hate it, or it will affect him emotionally being in full time nursery. Does anyone have any experience of this? Any success stories to make me feel a little less worried?
So sorry i missed this!! Charlie went at 6mnths, so a bit sooner. I was the same, hadn't been away for him for more than 30min since he was born, dreaded going back to work and leaving him......but now, I wouldn't change it for the world. Charlie absolutely loves nursery. He flourishes there, has so much fun, learns loads and even has a few little nursery friends.
Soooo much more exciting than sitting home with me all day lol. I can honestly say hand on heart I think its the best thing for him. He has a great routine there, they have good, healthy, home cooked meals every day. They do loads of activities. What more can I say, he loves it, and i'm happy because he is happyDFD February 2012

Turtle and Delain, well done on your weight loss!
And good luck Marta.
It's my day off today - LO and I are on the train on our way home from lunch with a couple of friends. Had very yummy Mexican food at Wahaca! She's now asleep in the buggy after eating loads of broad bean & feta tortilla
Need to get some cleaning done this afternoon...
Hope everyone is well x0 -
Quite likely Marta. Too much stuff in my noggin I think0

Morning ladies
I don't actually have anything to say, but it's too quiet on here for my liking, so I'm posting for the sake of it! Hope everyone is well and had a good night. Good one here - slept from 7.30 to 3, wanted dummy and fell asleep again immediately, then up for the day at 5.
Busy day at work today, so getting a big coffee as soon as I get off this train!
Have a good day all x0 -
Morning! My OH was stranded down near Exeter somewhere last night. His works van broke down and they wouldn't send anyone to get him until this morning
poor !!!!!! slept in the van too! He usually works a Thursday night so he's missing out on that money and he had to clock off over night. They are giving him £40 bonus though apparently. My friend let me stay with her last night until 9 lol. Poor !!!!!! had been with me all day. Her and her OH ordered us pizza
her OH even bounced Dewi for me so I could finish eating ^^
We've got play group this morningneed to get breakfast down me and put some clothes on.
I took a pregnancy test yesterday. It was a possibility and with the way I've been feeling I thought I better check. It was negative. Not quite sure how I'm supposed to feel about it. It's way too soon to have another I know. But part of me is disappointed
Dewi has found his feet ^^ his legs seem too short for him to be able to grab them properly though hahaha!0 -
Yesterday I thought my lo was going to roll from front to back, he spent all day on his side trying to kick his leg over, but I've read it's harder to go front to back rather back to front! Ill be so excited if he does it! Guess who's spending all day on his playmat today haha!
Question... My dad wants to see us.. He lives a couple of hours away, is it fair to put lo in the car for that long, he won't sleep all the way so he'll get grouchy at some point!Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -
Morning all
Hope everyone is ok.
We are off to a baby music group in a bit but thought I would catch up on here as I haven't managed to log on for ages!!
Camping was super fun and the kids loved itthey spent most of the time riding their bikes, playing in the park, playing football or in the arcade so they were kept busy. We have booked to go back next weekend again as its only 40 mins down the road from us. We popped into Bournemouth to look around the shops which meant I could spend some money!!
Turtle - poor Reubenear infections aren't nice.
