Haha DDB. I just can't wait for Sunday to come an go now. MIL has said she's only staying for half hour... Think it's related to an argument with my mother during my labour. But if she decides to then someone will have to drive her home (half hour away). Don't know who will take her but if my OH thinks he is he's got another thing coming!0

I'd talk to your DH and ask him to talk to his mum. No matter what the argument was about, the fact is that they are both grandmothers to Dewi, and they should try to behave as adults for his sake. He'll have a birthday every year and they might have to see each other every time, the sooner they sort out the differences, the better. Here we haven't got a close relationship with family, yet we are doing a big effort on both sides for her sake. It's childish to leave because your mum is there, because she has many other reasons to stay, in my opinion. We have a family meeting this weekend, which I'm dreading, yet I'll behave my best and moan about anything that might go wrong once we get back and we are alone, lol.Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

I'm not bothered tbh. She said she'll come and then to the do after for half hour. She may well stay... I don't know.0

I'm dreading my lo christening, my sister (from a different dad) hates my dad, me and my dad have a strained relationship but he dotes on my lo so I'm leaving him to it because I want my lo to have all grandparents!
I know if he tries to speak to my sister at the do she won't have anything polite to say, I just don't need it. I think I'll be having a word before the do.
Families eh?Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -
My lo had his second jabs today, I carried him all the way home to calm him down but he's been back to happy smiley tonight so I don't think he's bothered!
The nurse said they aren't doing the second dose of meningitis at 16 weeks now, they are doing it at 14 years old. Must have changed recentlyNewly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -
Hallo ladies :-)
Glad your LO was ok with his jabs Mrshaworth2b
Hope you're feeling better today bamama
Afm, A gained 400g in the past two weeks! I was happy after getting her weighed. Breastfeeding has been hard work but this reinforces and makes it even more worthwhile. DH didn't get why I was so pleased at all.
Also had a row with DH last night. It was so hot here yesterday so he had A whilst I watered the pot plants. I came back in the lounge to find her screaming on her play mat, and DH out in the garden . Calmed her down, settled her, took her up to bed only to have DH slam the patio door and startle her awake. I just patted her and she was almost off again. Asked DH to just watch her but leave her unless she cries whilst I went to the loo. Came back in to find him cooing and talking to her and A WIDE awake again. So... DH gets into bed to go to sleep and I've a very wide awake and overtired little girl who wouldn't go down again. At 1 o'clock I gave up trying to settle her and brought her in with me. Grrr!!! I shouldn't complain as DH is really good on the whole but sometimes.
Anyway, onwards... Today is a new day. It seems slightly cooler here. So off to get A's passport photos done then take her to visit mil.
Hope you all have a lovely day

Hello all, sorry for disappearing again, just so busy - much easier to pop on fb on my phone.
We had a holiday last week (South Coast). Rained every day but still had a lovely time and did loads of activities. Poor Reu had an ear infection (both ears) all week though, so he wasn't quite himself and was on antibiotics, but he was a star and slept well in a strange room/cot etc, and was very patient with lots of car journeys.
I realised 6 weeks before I went back to work that I really needed to do something about my weight - mostly because I couldn't fit in any of my work clothes and couldn't afford to buy any new ones! I was overweight before I was pregnant anyway, so I thought right I need to sort this out once and for all. I lost a bit on my own then joined slimming world at the end of May, and I've lost a stone since the middle of April, and I feel fantastic! I highly recommend it, I don't feel like I'm on a diet, or am deprived etc, it's really good. I'm now 5lb lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight, and over 40% of the way towards my goal weight...which I haven't weight since about 2009. All without feeling like I've really tried or missed out on anything etc.
Hope all are ok, seems a little quiet on here. Hope that means babies are all sleeping and so are mummies0 -
Well done turtlemouse! I bet you feel fantasticNewly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0

It's a good feeling isn't it turtle
I was over 13st at Christmas (probably more like 13.7
) weighed in March at 12.10 and am now 11.9 :j I'd still like to shift another 2.5st so I need to start calorie counting again because that lapsed when I broke my phone
We're walking a lot more now, I walk 4 miles most schooldays and have been going swimming once or twice a week.
Saffagal my OH can be annoying that way too! What really gets my goat is that he will shout when he wants our 2.5 yo to eat her dinner... And she's every bit as stubborn as he is so then of course she won't! I can see her teenage years being fun if he's still insisting he gets everything his own way I really can.
Any of the ladies local to me want a kitten? Both cats have had litters now and there are little furry things all over the place! (i'm not trying to sell on here BTW I just want to find good homes for them! ) so if anyone's interested drop me a pm
I've got a sleepy baby snuggled up to meso I'm making the most of my hugs. Both littlies were up late last night and have been in grump mode this morning so I'm hoping that they'll sleep at the same time and I can clean up my skip of a house *sigh*
Wish we had the warm weather back, all this drizzle is driving me batty.
Oh and I had a go at an old lady yesterday. I felt pretty bad about it (even though she was rude) but then someone came up to me this morning to say she'd heard about it  and to say good one! Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks she's a cantankerous old witch. Maybe I should go and do some community serviceMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

I've started calorie counting as of today, I registered three days ago on a site but I had not started it, as I wanted a goodbye kfc which I had last night, lol.
I got her passport today, so cute!
By some kind of miracle, she has been sleeping for the last hour and twenty minutes, a nice change from her 40min naps. And last night she slept 8:20pm to 2:20am, then 2:45am to 6:35am! I even managed to trick her into sleep for longer, by putting her in my bed and she snoozed from 7am until 8am. It's a one off, though, but I'm enjoying it!!
She's got two teeth coming out at the same time, one is sharp and you can see the white bit if you look closely, the other one can be felt but still not seen.
Oh, she woke up.Quit smoking *1st January 2010*
