I'm glad you asked what they are I was wondering
Beautiful pics turtle, I apologise I don't think I said happy birthday (wasn't sure who I was wishing it to) hope Reuben had a great time with his pressies!
Looking at my lil boy this morning the back of his head looks miss shapen, he sleeps with his head to one side, I feed him on the same. So I've started feeding him the opposite way and sitting him in a different place so he ha to turn the other way to see tv, people etc. should I be worried?Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -
Hi ladies, I'm here too but been out this morning at the docs (got a range of new stuff to sort out his scabby shoulder) and we've just been playing in the garden this afternoon as its so lovely.
I was watching one of those climbing frame things on eBay but forgot about it - it didn't sell with a starting price of £50 and its been resisted with a starting price of £95. !!!!!!?!Newborn thread member

No. But you're probably right in your assessment of what's causing it, and what to do about it. When babes are bottle-fed we tend to naturally always feed them with the same hand. As their head bones are very soft, they can get a bit squashed in the crook of your arm. Alternate each feed just as you would do with a booby-fed baby. I'm not sure how old your baby is (it's probably easier as they get a bit older) but is it possible to hold him so you're supporting him underneath his shoulders as opposed to having your arm underneath his head? If his neck's not very strong yet this might not be possible.
His head will be a normal shape again, promise"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Thanks fluff, there's nothing I can do about the sleeping thing yet, but when he gets interested in grabbing things I'm going to get a activity bumper and put it on the bumpy side!
He looks miss shapen in the mirror, my oh is freaking out, I'm telling him that'll be ok but he's seen on embarrassing bodies the one with the 6month old having to wear a helmet!
It'll be reet!Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -
I expect it'll even out, I think the helmets are for seriously extreme cases of wonky head. When George's hair is wet his is a bit uneven but his spiky mop covers it pretty well normallyNewborn thread member

It will be. Freddie's head was a bit flat because I just lay him on his back in his baby gym all day and ignored him. He's fine now. Once he could sit up, it sorts itself out really. And katiechoc's right - once they've got hair you notice it so much less anyway
And I'm staggered to hear there was an episode of Embarrassing Bodies that wasn't all about peenies and mooers."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
