We got a vtech walker for G and he had it when he was just starting to sit up on his own, about 5-6 months. he'd sit there and play with the buttons on it for ages before he was anywhere near walking with it. And that was ment to be a Xmas pressie. He had it in October
We didnt make it to the pool. Well, we got to the changing rooms and all changed then just as I was getting my £1 ready for the locker he went barmy scratching at his neck so badly it bled. So had to get us both changed back while trying to stop him making it worse, then try and explain to the receptionist what had happened and get her to refund me. Quick dose of anti allergy stuff seems to have worked for now but hopefully will get back to the nurse later as her magic cream that she gave us last week obviously isn't all that magic.Newborn thread member

Hi all. Just quick one from me. You may all know this already but m&s have a really good 50% off sale at moment. Got some lovely clothes for LO. Also was in mamas and papas earlier and overheard the shop assistant saying shed just had an email to say their sale was going to start tomorrow and not Saturday as originally planned so they had to get the windows re merchandised. May have to have a sneaky look on their website tomorrow to see if any of the items I liked in store today have gone on the sale
P.s. DDB wish my LO would sleep for 2 hours in the day. Enjoyhowever, if I'm sure the issue is as you didn't know it was going to happen you could have done so much in that time if only you'd known

Well she had 3 hours 45 mins in total and I used the time to do pretty much nothing lol, everytime I left the room I came back expecting to see her awake, kept double checking she was breathing, how paranoid is that!
I've become a master of doing things in 10/15 minute slots so didn't have any cleaning or chores to get on with so I pretty much parked myself on the sofa and watched back to back shipping wars I've recorded previously.
Fingers crossed she doesn't decide to knock the time off of tonights sleep!
Hope your little one got on ok at nursery nutella and is starting to feel heaps better x
Hope the itching has calmed down Katie and you find something to stop it happening again, poor mite!
I might invest in a walker - my oh has spent the last 20 minutes trying to 'teach' our 6 month old to walk the lunatic, they're both laughing away happily so I'm leaving them to it x0 -
Gave Freddie his walker. He punched it a couple of times and then burst into tears. He's being such a sod at the moment. Won't let me put him down for a second. When I'm doing the washing up he sits behind me, smacking my legs and whining, saying 'mum mum mum mum mum mum'. Too cute for words!"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

I struggle to imagine Freddie crying - in my mind he's always cheerful0

I've just logged on so I'm here. No real plans today, lazy morning whilst Daddy is at work, physio for me at 4:30 & then not a clue what we're doing after that. Might take George swimming0
