my little one 10.30-5.30, quick feed and back down and is still asleep. This has never happened before!!!!!!!!!!!:j:j:j She will probably go back to waking up every hour now she has lured me into a false sense of security!! I'm only posting about it as its the first time ever shes slept that long with just one wake up! Hope all the mummies with non-sleeping babies aren't too tired.

Dewi was awake for an hour and a half last night. Ended up co-sleeping. He's shattered though. Shoulda just slept, silly little thing.

Thanks for all the info about carriers :) I think it's going to have to be a Rose and Rebellion - the Ergo does look a bit small, so I'm not convinced it'd last us for very long despite what they say. The older kids in those photos all look quite skinny - my LO definitely isn't and I fear I'd squash her! And the Connecta looks like it'd be hard work on your shoulders?... We're in 18-24 clothes (her denim jacket is size 2 years ), so I need a carrier that won't break my back and that'll last for a little while.

Hugs to those who had a bad night. We had screaming at 4am (infection in both ears now, poor little thing), but prior to that a good night. Cuddled and nurofened her back to sleep and she woke up at 8.30! :T Thankfully I'm working from home today, so I could sleep too. Feeling rough though - is anyone else finding that they actually feel worse when they've had some proper sleep? It's like my body's got used to surviving on 4-5 hours, and when I get more than that I just feel sluggish? And to think I used to sleep 8-10 hours a night - how things have changed! :o

Nutella I used to complain I was still tired after 8-10 hours sleep lol! In the last 9 weeks of pregnancy me and oh used to go bed at 9 sleep for 10 and then I'd lie in when he left for work in the morning... And then moan I was tired lol! Safe to say having a baby has been a massive shock! :)

So cute DDB! How old is she? I'm having delivered two books on baby led weaning today, I can't wait to start trying stuff!

  • She's just over 6 months now - where'd that time go?

I'm winging it on the weaning as have a habit of buying books and never using them but have printed off some recipes from the weaning website recommended on here before. She had toast with mashed banana and avocado at breakfast and practically inhaled it!
