Fluff I am having the same kind of day except with my bigger baby!
She has been a total pest all day longI love her dearly but I'll be glad when her bedtime comes today
She is currently getting out all the DVDs even though we arent going to be watching one. I'd put her to bed now if OH and little baby were here tbh.
The roadworks are back  so I'm back to walking miles again...
And I'm meant to be swimming tonight but I've just had my dinner now and want to curl up and sleep
Hope everyone else is well, congratulations and welcomes as needed, I did read the posts but I'm all fuzzled!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Just about to give Poppy her tea in the garden, got to make the most of the weather, plus the dogs will eat any crumbs so saves me having to Hoover up!!
That's such a good idea! We don't have dogs, but we do have lots of birds, squirrels and foxes who'd no doubt be more than happy to help with the clear-upWe were out in the garden earlier this evening - LO tried to eat a flower, but decided it didn't taste very nice and promptly spat it out again.
Fluff - it's never too early for wine0 -
It's been a while & I've had a quick skim back but haven't a clue what on earth I've just read
One thing I do remember is a bit of talk about carrying babiesTheres to many different options & I can definitely recommended a sling library. The local ladies & gents have been sooooo friendly & I'm absolutely loving our woven wraps, we have a couple of different ones & they're so versatile! I opted for a wrap as there's no worries that LO will grow out of it
We had a lovely day today. Bit of a lazy time with daddy this morning, then a swim & food with my friend & her little boy who's 8mths old. George has had a monster sleep this afternoon & he's back down now. He's had quite a bit of boob too but I'm guessing that's down to the weather being so warm!0 -
She just woke up screaming in pain and rubbing her ears. All I could do was hold her, sing, pat her head and wait for the Nurofen to work
Reminded me of how lucky we are to have a baby that rarely cries - that 20 mins felt like forever. She's back asleep now, so fingers crossed for tonight.
Good night all x0 -

Morning
Thanks ladiesShe slept until 4am, when she needed more Nurofen and a nappy & bedding change (the nappy-related side effects of antibiotics can be a bit unpleasant...) followed by milk - she didn't eat much yesterday. Then fell asleep again - I had to wake her up at 7 for work & nursery. Thankfully no tears when I dropped her off. So yes, back on antibiotics, but a different type, so really hoping they'll kill off the infection once and for all.
Katie, enjoy your trip to the pool!
Have a good day all x0 -
Was going to buy Freddie a v-tech walker for his birthday (month's time). But I want him to have it now! I think he'd really enjoy it; it's time! Is it wrong to give him a present early?
Or will he not realise he's being spoilt at this age?

He doesn't know when his birthday is
And my other half got one for Xmas to keep at his house. He took his first solo step on his birthday a couple of weeks later, so it barely got used as a walker. He still loves dragging it round the room, crawling under it, and pressing the buttons, but if it's time for one, go for it!
We got ours cheap on Amazon, Warehouse Deals open box one, but it was fine inside.0
