Spag bol here for dinner (or lunch if you prefer lol) and my oh is coming home during his break to eat with me, we have to have our main meal at this time Monday, Tuesday and Thursday as he's either coaching or at cricket practice this evenings and if we wanted to eat together it wouldn't be till 9ish and I'd be starving I'll have soup later I think!
Pre-pregnancy weight ladies I envy you! I weigh less then I did before I gave birth but that's about it lol - almost 5 months on I think I should start trying to lose more!0 -

Well I just gave my tiny 2 rice pudding for lunch
Am not feeling too well to be honest, bit light headed and peculiar. Have been having major period issues (tmi sorry) and think that's why.

Aww poor Noah Sammie, I've had tonsillitis a couple of times and its horrible. Whenever Poppy is ill I always wish it were me instead. Hope he feels better soon.
Delain, I had similar issue and went to my Doctors, I'm on iron tablets now and he suggested the Depo injection which has stopped my periods entirely. Funny you mention rice pudding, Poppy had it for dessert on Sunday for the first time and loved it!
Knackered at work today, didn't get much sleep last night and I've got a meeting in an hours time that I need to concentrate in, hopefully I won't nod off!!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Poor Noah. My niece has had it a lot recently. Must be horrible. Plenty of cold foods on the menu!0

Baby here was teething last summer and had heat rash with it... I took her to doctors convinced she had something awful, asked what medicine I should give her and was told 'buy some ice pops' :rotfl:
I had tonsillitis when I was younger and all I could eat was ice cream :of
Hope noah feels better soon xMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

get well soon Noah, poor little mite!
MrsAshworth - I set my alarm every 4 hours for the first 2 weeks with the baby to make sure I fed her through the night. (Excuse me while I laugh at myself :rotfl:) - the baby NEVER EVER slept past 4 hours so in the end I stopped bothering as she woke up every two! She was gaining weight fine etc. and in the end I turned the alarm clock off as there was never a chance she would sleep that long at night. Imagine my surprise at around 4 weeks when she slept for 5 hours, she was fine and the midwife had said if she was gaining fine, not to bother waking them for a feed. They forced me in hospital to wake her up for a feed but she was so snoozy she just couldn't be bothered feeding, she is the same now, if I ever have to wake her up early to feed her she just grumbles and barely feeds.
Peanut - If I was the mum I'd take toys for her own kids to play with, something that'll keep them quiet. I wouldn't expect anyone to 'put on' something for the kids unless it was a kids party, maybe a christening etc. Certainly not an engagement party! PS - Enjoy your party
Gave little one some baby rice for the first time yesterday and she wolfed it down! I didn't read the baby book properly but it basically said if they swallow a mouthful the first time then that's great, she scoffed the whole mini pot I'd made! Found mixing it with her formula milk was much easier than trying to express a bit.
I'm really into memory keeping and just found a great iPhone app called Day One - you can add a photo and write a few words about it, it gets stored each day in a calendar and you can export the whole lot as a PDF - hoping to write a few bits each day and put it with a few key snaps of babs and have a lovely sort of scrapbook of her by the end of the year. Only got 4 months of snaps to catch up on of courseJust thought I'd share!

Thank you everyone.
He is managing to get some sleep now which is good, I just wish I could take the pain away for him. He still won't take any fluids as he is finding it hard to swallow do I have to keep an eye on his nappies to make sure they aren't too dry otherwise I have to take him back to the drs.:)DS1 10yrsDS2 7yrs :)DS3 born March 2012

I'm back, on the laptop now
Poor Noah, hope the anti-b's kick in soon. Hugs to him.
Lunch, I'm having a ham, salad sandwich, and picked onion crisps. Baby is in bed so I'm getting peace to eat it. I have prepped a Quorn Chilli for dinner and the baked spuds are in the oven doing a slow cook to go with it.
It's actually so nice outside, I have sandals on for the first time this year :jThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
I have to take ds2 into town after school to get some new school shoes and I was thinking of looking at some sandals. I can't wait until its warm enough for a maxi dress and sandals
I was considering a chilli this evening but decided on sweet and sour chicken with rice instead......we will have chilli tomorrow.:)DS1 10yrsDS2 7yrs :)DS3 born March 2012
