George seems to have been really sicky over the past couple of days & he's not pooed since Friday, maybe Saturday. He's still feeding as normal & seems bright enough in himself, possibly a little cuddly at times but he's always been a snuggler! He's breastfed with the occasional bottle of EBM. We're really careful with sterilising the bottles etc & following the guidance for storing/heating the EBM. Has anyone got any ideas on possible reasons why? He had his 8wk imms last week, could that be something? I asked the HV at weigh-in today but she just said its probably a phase, as he's putting weight on & eating she's not worried :/
I don't know about the sick but as others have said large gaps between poos in normal if BF and if the HV thinks it is fine then I'd go with her advice and just stay prepared for a poo explosion in the next few days.

I had not lost any weight :( I was looking at pictures today pre-pregnancy and I must have put way over two stones. I really need to do something about it.

My lo has her 4 months jabs tomorrow, I'm dreading it!

We had chicken thighs, potatoes and vegetables.

I don't like leaving her either, I even found difficult at first to leave her with DH whilst I was told to have a nap!! I'll have to leave her for a couple of hours with mil next week because I have to work, but if I have a choice, I stay with her no matter how tired, hungry, scruffy I might be. I rather fit my lunch, naps and shower around her naps or do them with her , than leave her in order to do it.

    I hope Noah gets better.

    Congrats on your engagement!!!

I just realized that my lo would need a passport to travel, how do you do a passport pic???

I got my LO passport pics done at 3wks, went to a photographer man who just took them with Aiden sort of propped.on a bean bag thing - only cost about three quid. Pretty sure our local Post Office will manually take them too so worth an ask xx

Sunshine - hope you are feeling better soon, I suffered with headaches around the time of the month and they are bad enough so I really feel for you having migraines. :(

Martafdz - we had Noah's passport photos taken in sainsburys, they have a photo department. Also local key cutting places usually do them. I laid Noah on a white sheet and the man just clicked away. :)

We've had another night here of screaming, there is literally nothing I can do either except keep him dosed up on calpol and penicillin. I think we are averaging 3 hours sleep a night and, after a week, its starting to catch up on me now. I've given up and taken him downstairs now but he is still screaming :(

    Morning ladies :)

Hope everyone is well and that Noah feels better very soon. Poor little thing :(

Gilly, how is your little man this morning?

OH came back yesterday after two and a half weeks away visiting family. Little lady's very happy to have daddy back, and so am I - looking after a baby by yourself and working full time is bloody hard work!

Going to the hairdresser in my lunch break today :) Katie, did you manage to get an appointment yesterday?

Marta, good luck for jabs. And on passport photos, we went to a photographer and she was lying on a white sheet on the floor as she was only 3 weeks old at the time. I think we paid £7 for 4 pictures.

Have a good day all x
  • Morning all, a much more civilised wake up time today thankfully - S slept from 21:50 to 6am then back down after a super quick feed till 8am, feel human today at least! Although in my ridiculously tired state I forgot to put her mitts on last night and she's got a 6 inch long scratch down her left cheek and my oh has been a right tit about it being my fault as if i meant to forget! she's into scratching and pinching everything atm even though her nails are kept short she's mastered the art of leaving marks - my boobs are covered as it's a great way to pass the time while feeding apparently!
Hope everyone had a better night and the antibiotics start to work really soon sammie!

Good luck today Marta, we have our 3rd set this morning and despite my oh being off he can't possibly take her as he can't deal with it if she gets upset - wimp!

Might take lil miss to be weighed today as it's been 6 weeks but if its raining it can wait another!

Growth spurt, hopefully that means after a few days he'll settle!
