Yep he is just about now. I think he's probably 50/50 between crawling and walking - he can't get from sitting to standing without holding on to something though. So if he falls over in the middle of the room he's scuppered! Could probably have waited for shoes tbh but if we go to the park or something it'd be nice for him to toddle about outside. Plus baby shoes are the cutest things ever. Fact
He's snoozing - washing up done, chicken marinating for tea, Netflix on, cuppa in hand and toasted muffin gobbled. Happy mummy
Oh wow what a clever clogs!
Oh and yes you are right, baby shoes ARE the cutest things!!

Thanks for asking, she's still miserable but GP didn't find anything wrong other than a small almost imperceptible rash on her tummy and back, so she said that she might be developing a virus and to keep an eye on her temperature and feeds/nappies. The Dr said she was not concerned because she was alert and seemed happy, although I explained that compared to her usual shelf her mood was low and cranky! She also gave me a pot to collect some wee if she continues like this, she said to take her nappy off and wait lol
Thanks for the advice and calming words
Oh, who was asking about monitors? I saw that my local Morrison's had a few kiddicare monitors (audio) at £14.
And mumsnet panels were looking for mums in the northwest for a George foreman event in Manchester on the 16th, 10am -2pm. He'll do some recipes and show his new grills, then all mums will receive one for free to try and review. I'd go but they don't allow children because of h&s and I already have a massive and great flat grill / hot plate. The email said free products will retail at between £40-£100. They also give you an apron and pay up to £30 towards travel costs. Pm me if you cannot find that info there and you want the email.
I am also trying stuff for Bzzz and Clicks, I received today a new scholl police stone machine that is great! Plus e45 moisturizer and a youth eye cream thing. Sorted free pampering for a while now, lol. Plus my DH has said he'll pay for a haircut after I said I was going to cut my fringe, so I have an appointment for Saturday! I want a big thick fringe and layers to thin out my otherwise volume-prone hair. Feeling tired but good this week!
I saw also at Morrison's some cooking satchets for slow cookers, I recommend the chicken provenzal or whatever its spelling is, it's great! It's a satchet that says slow cooker (if you have one, obviously) and it's with all the other spices and sauces.Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

Thanks for you replies re the nappies Savage
Had a horrible night here last night. Mollie was screaming from 12.30 until 5.15. Think she's constipated too and is also absolutely full of cold. Couldn't set her down or even stop patting her back without her screaming even louder. Was awful when Amelia woke for a feed at half 3 as well. Had to take them both downstairs and prop a bottle in Amelias mouth while she was laid on couch. Gave her calpol but I really hate doing that without knowing whats causing it first. She eventually dropped off at 5.30 until 9am and Amelia was kind enough to sleep til then too !:T
She's been ok all day, a bit grumpy this morning, but now its started again. Wonder why its worse at night? DH has been comforting her all evening but he goes to work at 1am every morning so dreading it later
Anyone else have this problem? We've been giving her water with a bit of pure orange juice in. She actually did have 2 small p00's this morning but nothing to indicate the pain she was having
Hate hearing her like this, makes me want to cry too. Feel so helpless

Cake, are you sure they are constipated or just struggle to poo? I ask because I thought my lo had that same issue at 5-6 weeks but the doctor told me at my 6week appointment that unless their poo is hard and dry, they are not constipated, just don't know how to use the muscles properly. I remember you just started them on solids, so maybe they are producing more wind since their stomachs are so young and that hurts them? If so, it would make then sense to be worse at night, because their legs are not moving and the wind just accumulates in some spot. My lo is better at releasing wind during the day, since she's been kicking her legs, having tummy time and moving more generally ; whilst at night there's always a lot of struggling and pulling legs up and grunting when trumping. Could you revert back to milk for a couple of days and see how they react? I cannot remember why you had put them on solids,it might not be an option.Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

marta - I reckon to collect wee, you just need to be called Daddy and walk to the bathroom from the bedroom without a nappy on the baby ready for bathtime - 4 nights in a row my OH got wee'd on. You'd have thought he would have learnt after night number 1!!!!!! I really want to be a bzzagent, sounds fab! Sorry to hear about LO, maybe this is the start of something?
Cake - is it definitely a stomach problem? I read somewhere that teething can be worse at night? Mind you, colicky type problems are also worse at night!
Gilly - OMG - I had never heard of 4 month sleep regression, just googled it.....thanks!0 -
Moneypenny - 4 month sleep regression only lasted about a week here, so fingers crossed it'll all be over soon x0

Thanks Nutella! We had a great night last night (12.30-6.30 AMAZING!) but she was absolutely shattered as the 3 previous nights had been broken sleep and she had barely slept in the days so we'll see how it goes tonight, hopefully it was a 3 day sleep regression! Awful though - made me realise how quickly I'd forgotten those first newborn weeks!!!!!!0
