'naughty' treats are also better tooth-wise straight after a meal - so all the extra saliva and on happens in one sitting rather than later, or something like that anyway.

More advice re. the teeth. Don't brush their teeth straight after eating, treats or otherwise. But if they do have something sweet, encourage them to have a drink of water afterwards.
