I can't get the missing little girl in Portugal out of my head

I know everyone is shocked and worried for the missing little girl but I didn't sleep last night and tonight I keep putting Sky news on every 5 minutes to see if they've found her safe and well. I feel so sorry for the parents it must be unbearable for them I just so know they are going to feel guilty that they left her but I'm sure lots of people do the same so they shouldn't be judged for that. I never pray but I have prayed twice for the safe return of the little girl.We hear so much bad news with bad outcomes but I'm thinking positive that this will be a very rare occasion when there is a positive outcome. Sending positive vibes to her xx

I know...can you imagine the torture the parents must be going through. My two laugh at me because i worry so much about them. they are 20 and 15 ...but they are the most precious thing in my life and i tell them my life would be over if anything happened them ( no pressure there then on them ...lol ) they look at me as if iv lost the plot.....
  • i can't stop thinking about it either, felt sick all night and couldn't sleep. such a horrible thing to happen. i think threads about it are likely to get closed though.

I had a terrible day when they read / saw this story in the news. If my whole day was darkened and subsequent days mired, i cant imagine what is happening to the family.

My sincere prayers go to the girl and family.

I hope they catch who ever has taken her and lock them up till the end of days.

I think this thread shows how caring our world can be.

So many times in the news we see things that "dont effect us"

But could you imagine being Maddys parents

I pray for her safe return and send my thoughts to her parents.

I keep checking the news too, but im sorry to say... its been a few days now, and im finding it hard to stay optimistic for the poor girl,

I still cant believe that 2 educated people like her parents left their children in the room and went off for dinner, it may have only been a short walk away but would you leave 3 children under the age of 4 alone while you went a few doors down for the night?
    i know i wouldnt,

its a terrible way to learn a lesson, but in this day and age, you really cant take your eyes off your babies.... and considering how much freedom I had as a child, it makes me so sad for this generation.

I am not religious in the slightest, but i have lit a candle to guide her safe return home

Yeah I thoght the same. In Abduction cases no news usually means bad news - after three nights a good outcome looks extremley unlikley, although I hope I'm wrong. It looks like some sick pervo had this very well planned and had obviously been watching the family closely.
