Sorting clothes out too, I swing between being excited to and thinking all this fuss for two weeks!!! Forecast not too good for next week either - oh well we have our wellies and waterproofs at the ready!!! Holidays were much easier when I was a child -oh yeah thats cause my mum did it all - doh!!!

    Morning all,

    How's it going? :D

  • I confess. I feel really really bad about this. Really really guilty. And really really pathetically stupid.

I was out on a leaving do last night - and I fell for it. I had ONE cigarette on the way home. It was 3.30am, I was "alittle" drunk and I had a cigarette. not good. Not good at all.

It was horrible. A horrible experience. A blip?

In a strange way it's given me more of an incentive to stop for good.

    Sorry everyone! :(

12 days in, and I fall. But I'm back up again. No looking back. I've learnt my lesson.

Hope everyone is doing better than me - good luck!!

cheers for now!! I'll keep you posted!

HW, ignore it, it was a blip and that's it.

Pick up that scan pic, go back and watch Max Kirstens vid again, read the 1st post's reasons for quitting and carry on as usual.

This happens to most of us at some point but there's no reason 1 fag can undo all your hard work.

Take it easy on yourself, look at it for what it is - a learning curve :)

Stick with us and you'll be fine :D

  • Jo - Thanks for your kind and encouraging words. Very much appreciated.

Your right 1 cigarette is not going to stop me doing this. I've too much at stake.

I cant believe I said "yes" when I was asked "do you want one" though. It was late (3.30am) and I'd been out since 6pm!

So I'm feelin a little sorry for myself here (hungover, and a bit of guilt!). But it's Friday!! yey!!

On Sunday - it "would have been" 2 weeks since I stopped. But I guess I'm back to day #1???!?! :|

    cheers!!! :o

No you're not back to day '#1???!?!', carry on as normal and forget about it. It's not as though you've gone out bought a packet and smoked all day long....sober! Don't worry about it, it's just affirmed that you really don't want to do it anymore. So Sunday it is still 2 weeks :T

Why count the days ? It's so unimportant. The important bit is that you have stopped.
  • Hello All,
You're all looking mighty fine - clearer skin, nails and glossy hair!! That monoxide stuff working its way out of the system!!

HW please please don't think of it as being back at the start - every life changing decision has to be tested to make sure that you are doing the right thing - think of that one as a test - you passed - you didn't go out and buy 20 more :T

I was looking forward to the summer hols - less stress so less craving right? HAH!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

I hadn't realised just how many times I sat down with the cuppa and ciggie routine whilst at home - its h*ll! I find myself unable to sit down - so I'm baking - loads of the stuff - I'm actively encouraging my kids to bring home half the road for tea!!:rotfl: :rotfl: Spending more on self raising than I ever did on the cigs!:rotfl:

Thinking of changing my signature and adding 'Weebols wobble but they don't fall down' - remember those huge bottomed toys? In fact it could almost be a new anthem *mmm need to ponder this one - need a carrot muffin to assist thought process*:D

Take care all - I may not post very often but I read every day - between you all, you've kept me on the straight and narrow - thank you.:A

    Tilly
    xx
