nirelandguy wrote: »Buttercup best of luck you can do this!! Well 24hrs over me and I feeling pretty fine, I had a dream about smoking lastnight, but rather than waking up wanting a smoke, I woke up thinking, I hope I haven't had a smoke and then the relief when I discovered it was a dream..
I used to have exactly the same dreams for a good while and was terrified as I 'came to' that I'd started all over again. I even used to rub my fingers together to make certain there wasn't a ciggie there! What a relief when I woke properly.
Don't worry too much about the slip ups nirelandguy & Buttercup.x, just get back in the circle and keep on with quitting. No doubt you'll find it far better with a little support Buttercup.x, though you did have stressful times today. Strengthen that resolve both of you and keep strong as you WILL do it!!!!

Hi all newbies,
Just wanted to check in and celebrate my 2 month smoke free date with you. I'm so impressed with myself, not even the kids school holidays made me start again.
Good luck to all those starting out on the journey and don't worry if you slip up again, just get straight back into it and make sure you don't leave it too long else you only make it harder for yourself.
Keep smiling (I know I am now I've just dropped 1 child off at school, my dd starts on the 15th!)DMP mutual support number 199Debt free in [strike]2025[/strike] 2018 (hopefully a lot sooner!):j Smokefree since 10pm 2/7/08 :jBaby no.3 due 29/04/20110 -

Hi every1
Can I sneak in for some advice and support please?
I started taking champix yesterday so my quit date should be 9/9 ish
Hoping to stop this time as have been smoking for 25yrs and NEED to quit.
I'm doing it for myself, and also my kids as they hate me smoking.
I plan to put £3 a day in a money box, and pay my perscriptions out of this to see how much I save over the 12 weeks.
I'm hoping not to put on too much wieght as I need to lose 6st, but GP recommended stopping smoking first!?
Thank you
