Morning everyone. Hello Cheaps, good luck and welcome along. Its great so many of us doing this together - it really has helped me no end. Only smokers understand how difficult it is to quit so virtual moral support is amazing!!

My other good news is that I have transferred all of my debt to Virgin CC at 0%. It will look very nasty on the first statement but it is 0% for 15 months. The plan is to pay the minimum balance and save like mad to pay the lot off. The main aim is to ensure we do not go overdrawn again. I will actaully save myself over £1000 in interst charges in the first 12 months alone - why did I not do this last year - why did I take a bank loan???
Oh well lesson learnt. The non smoking is to have cash in my pocket/bank - this will be around £180/month :)

:T That's fantastic:T you're creeping up on the two week mark and hopefully you're feeling very proud of yourself, two weeks without smoking is quite an achievement, take confidence from the past two weeks and use that confidence in your fight against smoking!

Every minute you spend as a non-smoker is another metaphorical brick in the prison we're putting cigarettes, how satisfying is that after they kept us enslaved for so long. (is it too early for pop-philosophy:D )

Hopefully everyone else is doing as well, great to see new usernames popping along regularly, stick with it and you too will be a non smoker!

Just bought the Allen Carr book on ebay - still only smoked one - which I hate saying on here as you are all much better than me and not smoking at all

Don't worry, Red. Everyone is at different stages of stopping and we all understand.

No one is better or worse than you on here :)

    Post away.......;)
:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood

Redmadcurls, you're doing fantastically. One cigarette. So one cigarette. Compared to what you were smoking? Thats a HECK of an achievement. Keep it up :)
My husband is doing well too. He smoked 20 a day.....he bought a packet of tobacco on monday (25g) and he still has some left so he's saved himself a
pack a day too! He's doing great. He's been smoking for 22 years. I'm proud of him.
So, according to my meter today, I have saved so far £8.63 p. Yeehaa. I can afford a chinese now. (just kidding) the money is staying in my account, and when I reach a tenner, I'm going to pay it off a bill. Doesn't matter which one. Just randomly pay it off.
Proud to be dealing with my debts :T

I'm finding it a wee bit tougher this afternoon. Then again, I have two of my kids off sick from school (8 and 4) and my friends two kids (2 and 4) so it's a wee bit hectic in here LOL.

    I will stay sane.

Mind you, I'm also weaning myself off medication so we can try for a baby, and that isn't helping at the moment. I feel a bit woozy.

I'm still puzzling over budgets LEWKI LOL. I'm still waiting on my hub to get details from work. He doesn't get wage slips, per se, but its all on computer and his password isn't working, so until I get that, I'm not 100% certain where I am.
I filled in that budget planner though and OMG. The amount we waste is atrocious.

It's no good. I have to sell my husband, dog and kids. I do.
