:T :T :T jfox... Day 6 is great...
I am doing ok thanks.. looking forward to actually giving the fags up and being able to say 1 day, 2 days, 6 days etc... hope I manage  . I start the higher dose of champix tommorrow so am expecting to be smoking fewer cigs by the start of next week, and quitting on Day 10 which is Wednesday I think..
I am sure you will be strong this weekend, try to do something good which will keep you busy
Good luck Honey, keep strong i think that a lot of it is physchological.
Ali im so sorry to hear of your news, keep your head up
The OH gave in on friday night, she was so stressed and losing it that in the end i just went and bought a pack of 10 so she could smoke. She had half of the cigarette and has regreted it and not smoked since. If im honest i think she will smoke again.
We were in a shop yesterday and there was a guy in the line infront of me, he stunk of smoke. I wonder if i ever did even though i had rules such as not to smoke in doors.
Onto day 9, 4th hour and 18th minute. Its getting easier and easier!
Good luck everyone, hope you've all had a good weekend. :T0 -

I have read his book, stopped smoking for 6 months. I watched his 1 hour long dvd last week and now im onto day 9. I like the way they work, learn a lot of information to why you smoke and how u can give up.
If the session doesn't work, you get your money back so really with the money you will save on cigs, you can only gain from going.0 -
Just went to collect my son from the bus and decided to pop in my local, just had an orange juice, quite a few people i know were in they couldnt beleive i had quit smoking, they were so in shock, and i could tell a few were jealous, probably wondering how the hell i have done it, because i smoked quite heavily. They all said i was looking well which was good aswell. Just come back home and have decided i might go for a run this evening, something i havent done probably since leaving school  , i'm nearly 29 now couldnt run when i smoked too out breath.
Good luck honeypie i decided to quit on day 10 of champix too, and it worked for me,0 -
Good evening all,
I'm now on Day 13, and feel very pleased that I've managed to stay smoke free, but still feel as though there's something "missing". I'm sure it's now a psychological problem, as opposed to being nicotine addiction, and I've started to do some simple mental exercises to try and condition my mind that I'm not missing out on any thing at all.
Ah well, that's the theory, but I still don't think I'd pass the "would you like a cigarette"? test.:mad:

Evening all!
Good to see that we're doing the teeth gritting when needed! I've had to have some nicotine gum today- it makes me feel really sick! However I'm now at the start of day 4 and have the feeling I'm going to make it. I'm finding I no longer spend the whole time in a trigger situation thinking about the fact I want a ciggie!
Feedie- I would like to go to Italy if I saved enough
Lula- well done for persevering
Foxy- shame about your OH. I'm glad you've kept strong and not used it as an excuse to join her!
Naomi- that must have felt great....I can't imagine ever feeling so good it makes me want to run!
Richard- well done! Hopefully with time the feeling will pass. hat mind exercises are you doing? Are they helping?

Good eveing & well done to everyone, think we all agree that week ends are really tough.
I've had 5 gums today, I didnt even try to brave out the cravings ! I've noticed I have a weird big meal craving, cooked a roast today & just as I was about to serve up my brain said "ooh, I do love a ciggie after a big meal" .
Well brain, I have news for you : you're undergoing intensive re training .
Good luck for monday everyone & remember :
We can do it, we can, we can, we can

Hi All,
Testing weekend is out of the way, we had a christening today with OH's family who, shall we say, can be quite stressfull when all together, loads of kids, loads of drunk and smoking adults and lots of aukward conversations.
Well, i went determined not to smoke and succeded, also OH who normally succums to the larger stuck to coffee and we left around 2 and went to look at lovely houses that we cant afford ready for when we win the lottery on Wednesday, lol.
Well done everyone, here is to the start of a smoke free week for all of us!!!!!!!!
