Thank you all for your kind words and support. My Dad was so proud that I'd stopped smoking, so I will be back on that wagon, doing it for me and for him.
Lula-Hula - I love the wrapping idea for cigs :rotfl:Back on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019

Ali- sorry about your dad. I hope you get the opportunity to spend lots of quality time with him and that you all adjust to the situation. Weirdly when this happened with my great uncle we had some of the funnest family times I can remember- lots of good memories.
Lula- great to have you back. LOL about the Tesco packaging....was exactly what I thought!!
Feedie- hope your mood has improved. I'm sure Lula has at least made you laugh.
Hi Honey!
Naomi- sorry but I can't advise on Champix, hopefully your dosage will help you keep on top of the cravings without feeling too sick.
Richard- hope you're still standing strong.
I'm through day 2....again! Another milestone though as I've been stuck in 2 major traffic jams and a party which were all big tests!

Morning Everyone,
Ali - Im sorry about your Dad, Stay strong and sometimes we need to go back to go forward (if that makes sense)
Lula, im loving that idea, i think they should also make everyone buy the child proof lighters from Tesco, they are industrial strength and i remember them being an absolute nightmare to push down - to the point that when i decided to quit i gave mine to my boss who promptly said that it was too much of a pain in the back side and threw it away!!!!!!
Feedu - we have a Wii and its great, we dont play it much to be honest because there is always something on telly one of us wants to watch but they are great - my mision for you is to try to win at baseball - i find it really hard (much to OH's amusement)
I hope that Jellie, Naomi and Richard are all doing ok and staying strong.
I went out with some very old friends last night, not seen any of them for 3 years and they are ALL smokers, started off saying that i had to passive smoke and was going out with them to just sit and smell the smoke, then it got to the point that i was just chatting with them, still went outside or i would have been on my own all night, lol, but didnt smoke and after about 2 hours i didnt crave anymore and despite them being evil/lovely/drunk/friendly and offering me LOTS of cigs or "just one drag" i said no and got through the night.
Im hoping if i can do that i can do anything.

Been smoking for 15 years, I gave up 1st July 2007 When the ban came in, went cold turkey I was amazed how easy it was, I tried before using patches lasted 3 weeks they kept falling off.
My main strength was that fact that I was buying my first home on the 27th July, I needed to quit to pay for the house and improvements.
I kept saying Fags or House? House won everytime
Good luck guys i'm fast aproaching a year you can do it too.0 -
