I have been halving my champix for the past 3 days as they were due to run out tonight and my doctors appointment isnt till saturday morning, so i have been taking a whole one in the morning and a half at night, to make sure i have enough till saturday.
Four days, 15 hours, 37 minutes and 36 seconds. 93 cigarettes not smoked, saving £11.63. Life saved: 7 hours, 45 minutes.0 -

Couldn't you put in for a repeat prescription? I did before my nurses appointment, when i went for the appointment she started writing out the prescription and i told her I didn't need it as already had some.. she was fine with that?
I guess it's too late now as you're appointment is on saturday but you could ask if you think you might run out again in future?:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -

Did you have any problems when you upped the dose?.
You have been smoke free a long time now... well done :T :T :T
I still feel a bit icky on them even now but it does pass after half an hour or so.
Haven't had any problems as such just feeling a bit sick straight after taking them, though i don't always take them with food so put some of it down to that.
Thanks HoneyPie  .. sounds like you might be stopping altogether very soon .. I stopped earlier than my "set" day and haven't looked back (well that is a complete lie actually as still get cravings just have been able to control them)
1 month, 2 weeks, 2 days now... really proud of myself.. of to a wedding in a weeks time and the bride wants me to nag the groom about smoking... not sure if their wedding would be the right place though

Good afternoon all,
Just into the beginning of day 10, and it's been another frustrating day. From waking up this morning all I've been able to think about is having a smoke.  I'm confident that I won't give in but it's bl00dy annoying that the urge doesn't seem to go away.
To be honest, I've had a truly awful week at work, and the timing of deciding to quit wasn't really that good, but is it ever.
At least it can only get better.

Stay strong Richard .. even if you were using NRT or champix you'd have up and down days but getting through them is an achievement worth celebrating in itself
You're doing great!!!:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -
